When starting out on reaper tasks (or bossing in general), War's Wares is one of the most interesting reward shops in the whole game.

At certain thresholds (number of total boss kills) you can unlock specific items within War's Retreat, including the altar, the adrenaline crystals, the 2nd boss portal. After unlocking all of those at a total of 2000 boss kills achieved, there's nothing more to unlock. OK, fine, maybe you ran out of ideas what else to add.

On the other hand, there's also the War's Wares currency, the "Marks of War" - they can be used to buy campfire upgrades and auras. At some point you have them all. 6000 marks of war get all the campfire upgrades, 92500 further marks of war get all the auras.

After that, all you can spend these points on are aura refreshers or life refresh scrolls. You also normally get enough of these from the daily challenges, and should you need one or two extra, sure you can buy them at War's.

But wouldn't it be nice to have further items to buy there for marks of war? Adding further unlocks/auras would be nice, but if it has to be consumables, how about further pvm-themed consumable items like soul reaper refresh scrolls or gifts for the reaper or drop enhancers for elite dungeons? Or maybe at least some cosmetics.

Regarding possible cosmetics which could be offered at War's Wares, some ideas:
- currently there are not many headslot overrides available that leave the face and skin color visible (e.g. when one buys a new skin color from Solomon's Store, having it actually visible would be nice) except crown-like items or the ram horns. Some helmets which leave the face visible would be a good addition
- prismatic dye (currently only available for rune coins)
- recolorable weapon overrides for all combat styles
- a necromancer outfit cosmetic override (could be released together with the new skill)


There are further ideas what kind of consumables could be added to War's Wares
- combat related lamps/stars and dummies (e.g. combat lamp, combat dummy, slayer dummy)
- skilling boss (yes I know, currently there's only Croesus) related lamps/stars (e.g. gathering skill, agility, prayer and construction lamps/stars) and dummies (e.g. hunter and agility dummies because these skills are used at Croesus) and silverhawk downs/feathers (again, because agility is one of the skills used at Croesus)
- reward currency packs for certain combat-themed minigames or encounters (e.g. goebie burial charms or shattered anima) such that you needn't always wait for the travelling merchant to offer them
- ed reward enhancers (lucky charms)
- Ports resource crates (only indirectly combat related, but the ports armour is made with these resources)
- combat-related and gathering-skill-related scrimshaws

Yet another new tab in the shop could be special items:
- new slayer masks (since the last slayer mask added into the game, so many new slayer mobs were introduced for which no masks exist)
- a cape upgrade pack that allows upgrading the all-120 master max cape such that it can hold 4 cape perks (wouldn't yet be relevant for me as I'm very very far away from all 120, but it would definitely be an extra motivation to grind for all 120s, and good for longterm committed players)

I mean their last update on that literally was shortly after that thing was released back in 2019 - nothing at all happened since then.

Leaving a bit of commentary for your proposed rewards.

- It's generally extremely unlikely they'll add MTX items in here - you can purchase challenge shards at war, but just as in solomon it's via runecoins only. The shards would have been a perfect chance to give that currency some kind of value to be fair.
- More one timed cosmetics otherwise are a neat addition, but they don't fix the issue, the currency lacks continuous use.
- Weapon dyes possibly also are rather unlikely, since it potentially would devalue the TT ones.
- Direct (b)xp probably is a no-brainer.
- Spending them for alternative currencies could be a neat addition if it works like farming contracts or the travelling merchant. You should only be able to do this in some extremely limited fashion and not at all times.
- Enhancers also sound fine.
- I wouldn't hand out scrimshaws directly (since it doesn't only devalue ports progression, but also skill based ones), but materials (and other port materials) to create them could be fair game. Probably also rather limited that is.
- We will not see any more slayer masks, since they deemed them as a mistake (yet still released them out of MTX greed back then).
- Master max is not a progression milestone for now (and won't be for a long time and it's even likely enough it never will be) and thus shouldn't be encouraged to be pushed for except the cosmetic (unless it becomes an actual milestone, when and if that happens of course). That said I wouldn't see the idea to unlock yet another skill cape stand as too shabby to be fair.
