Can jagex add aurora dyes to hard, elite and master clues reward tables? Why limit it to only paper?

The drop rate of aurora dyes in clues is up to jagex, but just add them to clues.

Surely there isn't some obscure lore that prevents aurora dye from being rewarded from clues.

The double agent could have very well stolen some aurora dyes from postie and parcel pete.

If aurora dye is added to clues then we don't need to waste the 2023's xmas event on bringing back the dye and not green santa hat.

I see this as a viable option, for sure. In the event that the team moves forward with this, it probly' won't be announced until post-event to continue to maximize key sales :P . Regardless, hopefully the same rolls as-for the other dyes, then. - (Owner) Ornery Onions -

depends on how they see the dye. if they want it to be like all other dyes then yeah adding it to clue table would work.

if they want the dye to be only an event item then no.

personally id rather it be a holiday item. that may or may not come back

I can 100% guarantee it will not be in treasure trail, even. The answer is, it is limited to "Presents from the Sledge" and may nor may not come back in that event.

How do I know this? Jagex (owned by The Carlyle Group to the best of my knowledge) is a publicly traded company on the US stock exchange. They are are even more subject to follow US trade laws than the average company.

Jagex advertised the Aurora Dye as "exclusive" to the Presents of the Sledge event. You can still read it in the news page on the website.

Advertising is subject to laws enforced by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

This may be a game to you, but to the US government it is a business that must follow US laws.

So in my opinion Jagex has already told us all this Aurora Dye is exclusive to the Presents of the Sledge event.

The only question that remains is, will it ever be back? I am unsure. Exclusive to "this" event could be loosely interpreted as this even, this year in this moment and never again but I am not an attorney.

LoL let me retract my guarantee. That is not a literally guarantee as anything is possible. Jagex is in control, not me. My point is I trust Jagex to follow advertising laws and they told us the dye is exclusive to that event.

Peace

Yeah - no! They can pretty much do anything they want as long as they dont commit fraud while doing it, and it doesnt upset any shareholders in any way. Even then, there are loopholes and work arounds.

If you advertize something you are obligated to produce it for the timeframe or event stipulated unless there are limitiations like, "While Supplies Last", or something prevented the event from taking place due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances.

In business markets must expand, so they can expand it however they see fit, unless they dont see fit. Ball is in Jagex's court.

And right before the Sledge event I could have sworn I saw it for sale in Solomon's store, so it wasnt just created for that event. I almost bought some but I couldnt find much information on what it does at that point. It was removed from the Store in time for the event.
