Bear in mind though, Shooting Stars is a D&D, a supplement to minigames, not a replacement of them. We still have all the other old minigames for every RS3 player to enjoy. This is a suggestion for changes to existing game content, so this is exactly where it should be, the "Existing Game Content Game Suggestions Forum". You know that full well. So stop try to derail things with things like that. And you are the one who keep saying that D&D are the new minigames, or are you backtracking on that statement now?

This has been how events and D&Ds have been designed and implemented ever since 2001. For any timed events, if you fail to accomplish a task, you will need to wait for the next time. You should be glad you are allowed to keep all star dusts in Shooting Stars, as for some events if you can't complete the task all your items will be removed without redemption.

An update on this. It seems like Jagex may be looking at redistribution of old activities rewards. Perhaps they can repurpose stardusts or exchange them for other rewards too. It doesn't hurt to make a suggestion.

It doesn't hurt to make a suggestion. But all Shoting Stars give is Mining Xp, some Cosmic runes, a temporary auto-bank for ores, and since the rework, gold stone spirits. Whats there to redistribute? It would make more sense to rework how their mechanics operate so they are less cumbersome, and maybe give them some slightly improved rewards more in-line with current times. The auto-bank isn't as useful now that we have ore-boxes after all. And gold stone spirits suck considering gold isn't a useful ore for much of anything since the rework, Smelting it used to be top tier xp, not so much anymore.

OP has no issues with all these as I mentioned they are how D&D used to be. Nobody said removed whatever. Jagex just said they are exploring the idea of redistributing the rewards. We just get more options to deal with our rewards either the old or new ways. We lose nothing.

They are planning on improving the content. They are investigating the way to give us more OPTIONS to use our rewards.

Note that OP no longer indicated any problem after I told them it is how D&D works in Jagex these 21 glorious years in all their games. At least they are looking into improving it further in RS3, that they never did with RS2 and other Runescape variants.

I believe the thread you are looking for is Star Find , in the PVP, Minigames and D&Ds Forum.

This thread has been gravebumped from over a year ago, with a different topic than the thread was originally posted for. Some of the replies since the gravebump post are addressing the new topic, some are addressing the original topic, and others are criticizing other players instead of speaking to either topic.
