Add into the tier 70/80/90 dps and tank armour an alternative way to unlock. If you can’t kill those bosses your stuffed. I have never killed Nex before and not overly fussed in learning. I understand the argument of forcing people to learn but as someone who plays on mobile it’s not an easy boss to learn.

I suggest an alternative option to unlocking the equipment requirement of complete X amount of death tasks. I can then re roll to get a boss I am comfortable with / complete X amount of slayer tasks.

Long term I will wait till the tier 95 crashes and just buy them. But I would like to make my Own tier 90.

I can’t even buy tier 90 and wear them unless I have crafted them which is the only item I believe this is valid for.

Agreed! The complex requirements for achieving the armor is bonkers. Really is a slog for something I should be able to buy; get 90 necro and put on.

Not jump through hoops like a dolphin to obtain!

Nex and such are just for the power armors. You can still make the tank version with pretty easy kills.

If you can't kill Nex and such, you probably want the tank armor more anyway.

Besides, you can kill Nex and the likes in a group, or even a community run mass which runs frequently.

I mean I would support allowing players to buy and equip things they haven't made themselves so far.

But no changes to the ability to make this equipment in the first place, just because you do not feel like doing the objectives - which most of them have some kind of bypass anyway. What do you need endgame equipment for anyway, if you're not even intending to do any bossing at all?

I can see both sides, however if I wanted the challenge of learning the kills to get the drops for myself I would play on an ironman account.

The fact they made the items tradeable, yet you cant equip unless you have crafted once is a bit strange for me, keep them untradable. Now that the rush is over i'd like them to accommodate those that are lagging behind a bit, otherwise like I said will just wait a few weeks for the tier 95s to crash and will buy them.

All im asking for is adding an alternative like kill 1000 slayer creatures using necro, or kill 100 GW2 bosses using necro. Something that will take longer but gives an alternative path.

I have to learn to get my Zuk cape that's inevitable as its a unique item, all weapons before necro have only had level requirements to wield

I think that exists for when you have to replace already obtained pieces.

A fairly realistic scenario would be getting another set of t60 armour to go down the other path, instead of making it from scratch.

Another scenario would be replacing the armour if you lost for whatever reason in some wilderness engagement with PvP enabled (doesn't even need to imply you got slaughtered by someone else).

A third - but rather hypothetical scenario - would be the armour being used in further upgrades in the future, when you long got rid of it for other upgrades.

The issue in here is - you've gotten some clear task for the master to teach you how to make those things, that ensures some kind of progression both for you as a player as well as your character. It just is no progression to repeating the same action one million times over when you've already mastered it anyway. They obviously did those tasks to get players outside of their comfort zone. And yeah - it even is like that on the significantly more casual tank path - obviously you start out with something like barrows - but in the end you'll still get to GWD2. And tank armour certainly is a better choice for players struggling to get out of their comfort zone.

It's literally on the level for asking for some goblin to eventually drop endgame equipment just because you slaughtered way too many of those - yeah you obviously set that a bit higher, but not higher than the things you comfortably would be able to do. Issue is - let's just assume Jagex would do that - then the next one would come creep up "why do we need to do GWD2 for dat - GWD1 is plenty enough!!!" - and in the end you're really at goblins.

But yeah - this is why I do say this equipment should be freely tradeable/equipable - the lock behind the ability to make it will ensure some value for those things. And yeah - saying this as someone who has to earn t90 power still.

exactly, I have no problem paying for it as you then pay a premium for those that put the effort in to create it for those who don't want to / cant create it for themselves.

The fact you can buy / sell all the materials needed for the rituals for me it just seems like a slight inconsistency. Like I said if i wanted that experience of only earning what i make / drop i would play iron man. I like that I can buy what I want within reason. For the people who do the high lvl bosses they rely on people like me that will sit and create potions fish and cook the food. They just go to the GE and in 20 seconds buy what takes us hours to make so we can make a few million.

Long term I will be able to get the tier 90 tank armour once i get time to do so. I can do the Rax kill but the rest of the tier 90 power armour bosses will be all new for me so will probably skip them.
