I believe there should be an update to the way some of the experience boosting sets are earned.
Some sets are obtained in a way that is logical - by leveling in that particular skill - where as others seem to be stuck behind methods that are unrelated to the skill and are unable to be done alone and require groups to participate in dead content.
Examples of sets that make sense in the way they are earned:
Tier 1: Gain by training the skill
1. First Age Outfit - ecto-tokens
2. Black Smiths Outfit - training smithing in Artisan's Workshop
3. Archaeologist Outfit - Chronotes
4. Farmers Outfit - Sydekix Shop of Balance
Tier 2: (requires reward from minigame - but are at least relevant to the skill)
1. Diviner's Outfit - Guthix Cache
2. Nimble Outfit - The Pit
3. Fishing Outfit - Fish Flingers
Examples of Set that need an update to their method of obtaining:
1. Artisans Outfit - Stealing Creation (requires a group and is dead content)
2. Fletchers Outfit - Stealing Creation (requires a group and is dead content)
3. Lumberjack Clothing - Temple Trekking (why? This does not involve skilling woodcutting and it is also a random drop from a random event. Double Randomized)
4. Constructors Outfit - Temple Trekking (again, why?)
Ideas of how to Fix:
Idea 1:
Make various locations operate similar to artisans workshop for that particular skill. They will earn reputation training the skill in that area and can spend reputation on various items such as boosts, skilling outfit, etc.
1. Artisans Outfit - Crafting Guild
2. Lumberjack Clothing - McGrubor's Wood (would need an update on having clusters of trees of all skill levels and a bank box)
3. Constructors Outfit - Fort Forinthry
4. Fletchers Outfit - Potentially also in an updated McGrubor's Wood or somewhere around the seers village
Idea 2:
Create Currency with a character that you earn by training the skill similar to Crux Eqal.
1. Hunters Outfit - earn as you successfully trap animals, trade with a hunter npc
