When doing the Shooting Star D&D, when the Fortune Perk on your augmented pickaxe triggers, it sends a Stardust to your bank. This is a bit of a pain when you hand in the 200 dust to the Sprite at the end of the event, because you need to go to your bank to get those, then return to the Sprite.
It would be nice if Stardust could be excluded from the perk feature.
Shooting stars need desperately be reviewed as a whole. At a minimum they should fix the stamina mechanic and potentially other unwanted interaction with tool perks (like furnace?), ideally they'll make it more rewarding to do in general (like in OS, in which said dust can be used to purchase and maintain a couple of items relevant to mining).

thatd be great they also need to make it so star tubbies rather than just disappear after x-amount of time tired of getting 200 stardust just for the star to disappear before its actually finished

I must admit when it comes to remaster this content, I would take the OS variant as a base - star tubby doesn't exist there and the dust is a general purpose currency you can spend at a shop near the mining guild for a recolour of the mining outfit (probably not that interesting for RS3), a +4 mining ring (which
is
slightly better than the ring of shadows for that matter), which also can be combined with a different ring to have both effects at once as the one timed rewards. As the continuous rewards the ring can be charged with star dust to grant a chance for two ores at once and star dust could be spent on packs for gems or soft clay (with pure essence having been a proposal that failed the poll).
I wouldn't say it needs to be exactly this, but I generally like the currency approach - in RS3 it rather could be some mining related unlocks for instance + something afterwards to get rid of surplus - it basically could be runes + coins + boost just as is - solely that you could decide when you want to activate it.
And obviously mechanical improvements for the activity itself to be fitting in 2023.

Definitely like the ideas posted here
Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?
