i could see there being a way to trade cleaned herbs for seeds. the druids want them anyway so maybe they would be willing to hand over some seeds in exchange for the final product. would be handy for ironmen too, though spectres are pretty much an endless source of them herbs.

I was thinking more about how the game has changed. Before we had the option of planting more than one herb seed, the 5 seeds would last for 5 rounds of plant/harvest. Now that I can plant 7 seeds, I don't even have enough for one round. When the game degrades the value of seed in this way, there should also be more of them in the store.

There is actually a similar issue with the seeds we randomly get back after harvesting a patch. Here we also get only one seed back, even if we planted more than one. Getting one seed back when we planted one is ok. Getting one seed back when we planted 7 is not ok. Give us as many seeds back as we planted, or the reward of getting seeds back has simply been degraded.

Seemingly you don't realize RS3's economy is player driven. Jmods give us content updates to make the game better for the general public who are not disinterested in actually playing RS3. They don't make updates to make any items worth more or less.

Herb seeds are no exception. It is just wrong to the actual players who should be driving the robust RS3 economy IF Jagex told us herb seeds should be worth more or less.

Some herb seeds have been going up in prices sharply actually while some have been falling. Why don't you look at Arbuck seeds doubling to 200k each and Bloodwood seeds trading at 6 month high?

Whether you want to believe it or not , the Rs economy is driven by jagex not the players. The players react off of rarity and ease of access to said items is this case seeds and herbs all jagex has to do to bring prices down is increase the drop rates or add a shop, we already seem this happening with hydrix bolt tips they made them a more common drop and that effected prices just check the charts.

We are simply asking for a new or existing vender/shop to offer some seeds and some herbs with daily caps similar to other itmes like swords and armor. So for example the shop could offer 1 tiny little arbuck seed in shop per week even and that would have some like 30% or less on price at that ratio. Point is there should be a straight pathway to aquire seeds and herbs for all levels 1-120.

All that is irrelevant. This is about releasing new content that degrades rewards we already have. It has nothing to do with economy.
