Hi all,

I already suggested this idea in a bug format due to a companion's size interfering with my ability to skill-train in-game efficiently, but how would you feel about a graphics option to completely remove other player models as a toggle so it seems like its your own adventure if you want it to be.

For combat-based activities, this mode would automatically be disabled and other players would become visible again, but during fishing, cooking, mining, and other skills that you would prefer to seem like you are doing alone, this option would be available. There is also the idea of disabling cosmetics on other players' character models in order allow better focusing on your tasks without an oversized companion or bright, oversized, or distracting outfits that would be fatiguing on the eyes.

I work full-time and I just want to relax an hour or two at home in a peaceful environment most of the time, and I imagine some players' experiences would be improved with this addition.

Thank you for reading my post and I hope some of you like my idea.

No support.

Rs is a MMO after all not a SP game thus this would make 0 sense.

I work full time too and yet i see no issue dealing with others or just going to areas where many dont wonder.

Plus the whole "disable cosmetics" has been asked for plenty of times and will never happen as that would cause jagex to lose out on money.

Cosmetics could be used for the players who purchased them's satisfaction, but can be disruptive to other players. I dislike the giant drakes that conceal a significant amount of my viewing when fishing, mining, or fighting, and I have seen plenty of players with these on 190-200 population worlds near high-level areas. Just one player with one of these ruins the ambience of my experience, and I have a feeling this might be the case with many players who have never visited the forums before as well. This thought gives me an idea for another forum post.

Then dont go to areas that might have these?

If you choose to go to crowded areas, then thats your own fault.

I mean theres plenty of areas that not many ppl visit that you can use to avoid all of this.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, though: avoiding areas with these player cosmetics means players aren't allowed to experience whole areas dedicated to high-skilling. That's like saying a player shouldn't experience a core game element because of the appearance of an aesthetic, which should have no effect on gameplay at all.
