Giant, flying and/or land-obscuring companions, obtrusive (such as wings) or flashing costumes, and Lover's/Hater's Medallion-like effect items were not in Runescape 2 to the best of my knowledge and don't have any effect on the core mechanics of the game. Some of the Yak Track cosmetics are very large and distracting and some players will find this movement frustrating. Swapping rockertunities when mining means these cosmetics will also be moving alongside their players, leading to additional, unnecessary movement on screen that other players could disable and mine, fish, fight, farm, (bankstand ;) ) or other skilling without inessential environmental elements moving across the screen frequently.

First off, please learn to use spaces so its easier to read what you're saying. No one likes walls of text.

Secondly, you just seem to be listing things but not furthering the discussion so whats the point behind that^ post?

How does any of that debunk what i said:

You choose to get annoyed at things and demand that they should be hidden.

You can experience anything you want, but you're going to have to deal with others as rs is a MMO.

I don't have to dispute the statement because you are one of thousands of people in the community, which is why I would ask them all for their voting input I mentioned my thread about Player Power Poll improvements to see if this is a feature the majority would prefer to have as a toggleable option. It's just like the regulated auditing of elections.

The text format is my personal preference and doesn't violate any in-game or forum rules.

Yes just like loads of ppl would like a free 1b every time they logged in, doesnt mean it should happen.

So not everything needs a poll as polls mean jack in rs3.

Its in osrs where they decide the fate of content.

Just open disclosure, I didn't read any of the replies. I'm playing Runescape as a solo player and would prefer to have the option to see other players as default models and companions be hidden unless I am in a PvP area with PvP enabled. I want to mine and smith in peace so I can avoid the tediousness of farming the supplies for Herblore because I don't have the time in my schedule to farm virtual crops all day and eventually wish to reach some substantial gold rewards.

The flying, winged, and oversized companions are annoyances to my gameplay experiences in repetitive skilling areas. Hopping worlds doesn't help because someone seems to appear every 10-15 minutes, so I'm attempting to gain traction with this post again. It doesn't seem difficult to implement a graphics option selection like this for players to enjoy a more personalized experience with less focus on flashy aesthetics and more focus on the core mechanics of the game.

If you like companions and flashy aesthetics, leave the option to view other players' companions and aesthetics on, but the option would be available if someone pulls out a distracting companion or customization.

It's the main focus of the original game: your own adventure in a mystical and intriguing landscape with a vintage aesthetic, or a future aesthetic, or a Steampunk aesthetic, or whatever aesthetic. I hope some members of the game share this opinion considering the forum posts I found while searching and their replies. Thank you for reading some of my post.

I'm going to support this for one reason: performance. Being able to hide other players might let people with weaker machines who might otherwise be incapable of playing in crowded areas a chance to experience content they would otherwise be unable to, and that would be good for the health of the game.

Again, scrolled past replies in my peripheral vision, but it's disrupting to see giant companions flying in the Grand Exchange, in popular skilling locations, and unnecessary because it is for the enjoyment of each player's personal experience. I activated the Grayscale feature in the right-click menu of the World Map icon I explored and found a month ago to tone down the oversaturation and rarely enable defaults except for quests, but having the constant motion of giant companions in the air or on the ground is disruptive to gameplay and unnecessary for other players to see unless they are more than cosmetic and in a PvP area.

Last i checked you're discussing players not pets, so what do "companions in the air/ground" have to do with being able to hiding players?
