There is no "yak skips" in the Hero Pass. Hero points must be earned from playing the RS3, just nothing buyable. this aged poorly with the nice big "buy levels" button sitting right on the main screen.
Well, they are kinda true now though since Jagex hotfix-disabled the ability to purchase levels or emblems:
Disabling the purchase of Hero Pass levels or Underworld Emblems. This has been hot-fixed today.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
