Ring of Death (Loot Glitch)

While killing Arraxi I activated the new ring of death (by dropping below 0lp). Unfortunately, once I won I received a spider leg piece but could not loot the corpse because of the bleed damage interrupting the loot interface. This is very frustrating and I would appreciate a fix if possible.

Update: Apparently if you log out it automatically banks your items in this case.
