Agreed, without trying to make too much of a comparison, WoW allows for two ring slots.
Edit: The rings would have to be unique-equipped, meaning you can't double up on the same kind of ring.

Haven't had time to read through all the posts (i'll get around to it) but this is a great idea. I'm sure someone has probably suggested this or pointed it out, but rings by and large are in two major categories: 1. Those that add combat buffs and 2. Those that assist skilling (including combat, row for example).
Simplest solution would be to have "category 1" and "category 2" rings, and allow for one from each category to be equipped on each finger.

Two rings would be wonderful, I'm also pro combat and non-combat slots for the rings. Or at least a tool belt spot for support rings without direct uses like the ring of Charos so that you don't have to make a bank trip for small benefits like selling grey wolf fur.

I think it should be a reward after a small quest.
I'm thinking it would be kinda humorous to have your character discover that you can put a ring on both hands.
Like wait.... you can do that???
What a concept!!
That probably wouldn't happen, although tbh I kind of like the idea of having any two rings as long as they're different. If we could use two different combat rings, warrior rings might be a bit more valuable.
The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
