it would be rather confusing to have an item that could be equipped in one of 2 slots. Also, jagex doesn't make new slots unless it's part of the "giving us money rewards programme"

I don't see how it's confusing. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

This seems like a good idea. Being able to wear only one ring seems a little on the lacking side...oh wait--I forgot, we don't have fingers! O_o

A J-mod said you can't wear two magical rings at once, it would make them explode because the magic rings conflict with each other... Or something like that.
