Not really. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

I'd like to be able to wear two rings, and the separate-slot idea would be useful to balance the rings out. I'd like to use my ferocious ring in her cave during slayer, but I'd rather use the ring of wealth because there's a lot of good items I can get with the wealth. Although I'd wonder where Explorer's Ring would fit, because it has a prayer bonus, and I believe there's a magic bonus as well.

Two rings? We have ten fingers. Well most of us atleast, monster fighting has caused some problems for some of us :P If they do put two rings the next argument will be ten rings, and theres always two bracelets, and some people would want to wear two different boots. Really theres a lot of things we can't equip things to. And it might be better that way.
