That's an interesting option that I don't believe anyone's brought up before here. Do you think we should also be able to unlock having at least some of the benefits of both rings like you can with the Ring of Kinship thanks to the achievement diary?

That would be nice. Makes it more rewarding then if you have to complete something to unlock it. What tasks etc, I don't know.

Thanks :) The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

I have not read every post, that would take all day.

With the advent of the concept of invention being brought upon us, I think this should be one the ideas Jagex should be looking at with a great deal of severity, especially from the obvious outcry from players.

All the ideas you have posted are well rounded and thought out, but having seen some sneak peaks of what is to come, (all good staffs being combined into one) I can see that this idea has promise.

I like the "similar to a cramulet Idea" and the offhand ring idea too.

Taking on a more original spin on things, there are many cool rings which could be combined. For example:

The ring of stone is a long forgotten item, but still pretty cool.
Maybe combining this ring with another i.e. Leviathan Ring could unlock a further ability..?
Turns you to stone briefly to avoid
REALLY
big hits? - Good for bosses.

What about the Tzhaar ring, combining that with another high level ring could not only be useful but give additional effects.

As I said before I see a lot of promise with these ideas. Quests could be developed to manage this properly, making it a "new technique" (1st Linza focused quest... ;) )
-> And naturally once we have learnt the way make it we can have the freedom to combine rings, or maybe have a
CramRing
, However Jagex choose to play this, I think its an Excellent Idea and I can not wait for this to be implemented.

Long overdue,
Full support!!

A fantastic collection of ideas!

I really hope this becomes a reality soon! The forums need to be looked at more by Jagex, or atleast they should leave feedback so we know whether we should keep bumping our threads or not...

I like Valauria's Idea of unique combination ring abilities.
Very ingenious.

All round support! +1

I absolutely support at least one more ring slot. Ten would actually be unrealistic though, seeing as your thumbs can hardly wear rings anyways, and many would fall off of your pinkie.

@OP
Start a Runelabs petition; I'll support it if you put a link in the main post.

I'd love to see invention or a quest allowing us to create some nice ring combos. Another example would be charging a Leviathan ring with a bunch of rings of recoil (lets just say 20 or so), temporarily turning it into a mirror ring that could reflect the damage it blocks back to your opponent. And as you said, other rings like the Tzhaar one have a lot of potential for things like this as well.

Thanks for the support.

Also, sorry for the belated response, and I've quoted your post on the first page of the thread so it's easier for others to potentially see. And thanks to everyone who's been supporting. The fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, Fulton, and the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.
