Thread Rules:

-Each person will answer the math question of the person before them then post the answer along with a new math expression

-No math beyond calculus/statistics

-Try to make the math somewhat difficult

-No double posting

-Our goal is to collectively reach 2147m!

-For each correct answer we will gain
+2.5m

-For each incorrect answer we will loose
-5m
!

-Any format (scientific notation/standard) will be accepted unless the question specifically says to use one or the other!

-I will be checking the math on each answer to find our new balance

-Have fun :D


Example:

Person A: What is the square root of 16?

Person B: 4
What is 5^3?

Person C: 125
Simplify (e^(x+5))/e^5

Person D: e^x
What is two plus two?

... And so on

3 and 4, or 2 and 4 if for some reason you're only doing whole numbers (like a teacher at the school I work at did for a test...like what?)

((7x-2)^(1/3)) + ((7x+5)^(1/3)) = 3

find x

I had to teach Algebra II for a year, so I just pulled 2 extra credit problems out hahahaha.
