I'm afraid I would write a novella if I got started on an explanation of that.

Suffice to say that over the last 10 years the erosion in the quality of content (for example the lazy copy of Runespan into DivSpan), the kow-towing to the investors (doing away with traditional holiday events because they are not American in nature and the insistence on using Twitter because the investors hold a stake in that enterprise also) and the willingness to bend, break, ignore and rescind Rules on a whim because it suits the moment have all eroded what was a respectable game into a .....

Well, never mind. It'll just get hidden.

And that would just be for starters.
