The makeover mage is a direct descendant of Guthix, thus, because Guthix technically had no gender, (because Guthix wanted to be THAT balanced) the makeover mage has no gender and switches because the makeover mage feels like it.

typically requires a man, a woman, at least 45 seconds, and a little bit of alcohol doesn't seem to hurt. Then '9 months later', 12-48 hours of excruciating agony for her, piles of medical bills for him, then the fun really starts...
