I know, but in my opinion the brackets make it look nicer. Like how people used to use (c) to help prevent the censor, the brackets aren't needed but make it look somewhat intentional. Just using a "c" would look a little bit strange. Here's an example:

Edit: Except using c or (c) is a bit outdated now, it does not prevent the censor as effectively as r or (r). For example, the all-character wave is packed with different symbols, therefore prone to censoring. Using (c) can often make it censor really badly, while (r) resolves the censoring entirely.

Really great signature, but I agree with Cyan. Blue is quite hard on the eyes, maybe try an alternative shade of blue? There's a colour chart on page 3 that contains all forum colours in the order of the rainbow. You can find some nice blue colours there.

You could also check out posts 9 and 10 on the first page for some helpful advice on signature colouring.
