·¸·`·¸ Judging Rules ¸·´·¸·
1) Judging will take place immediately following August 1, 2013 at 00:00:00. The judging period of the competition will take place over a week and will end on August 8, 2013 at 00:00:00.
2) Everyone who has participated in the art competition MUST participate in the judging. If you do not rate, you will be disqualified.
3) The host of the thread must NOT participate in the judging portion of the contest. The host will instead only post to break any ties that might occur during the judging portion.
4) When judging, you should rate based on the rating guide that follows
Rating guide:
Note: In your rating, do NOT rate based on colours
1: Is...is that a stickman?
2: I think I can kind of make out a creature
3: I don't hate it.
4: Not bad, could use some work.
5: It's alright
6: I like it!
7: This is really good.
8: I'm impressed, this is awesome.
9: This is pretty realistic.
10: Wow! I thought there was an animal on my screen!
6) Similarly, when rating give thought to the following criteria (courtesy of Nop Patar)

¸.ˆ.•Proportion
¸.ˆ.•Variety of Character Usage
¸.ˆ.•Resemblance of Intended Image
¸.ˆ.•Overall Flow and Transitions
5) Do not give pity votes! A pity vote is one that rates something higher than what it really should be just because someone feels sorry that they are getting consistently low scores. When you are judging it is important that you are fair .
7) Be conservative with your '10's. You should not be giving out 3 '10's in your rating. Use the rating guide to help with your decision if you are stuck.
8) Do NOT rate based on colours.
9) I reserve the right to omit your ratings if I feel that you have given unfair ratings for other peoples artwork. Note: I will only do this in extreme cases where it is flat out obvious, so do not worry if you are rating fairly.
