Yeah you're right, I should have said light colour wheel, not spectrum. In the additive colour wheel, where the primary colours are red, blue and green, the opposite of green is magenta (blue and red combined) which is basically light purple. Heck, when you invert colours on a computer the green turns into purple.
But on the subtractive colour wheel, red is opposite to green, because for some reason red blue and yellow are the primaries and green is a secondary. I don't get it either but it works. And yellow ends up being opposite to purple.
But my title is green, so my nefarious plan is to make everything green, not yellow.
