Is there any other way to go about this? Currently there is no good way to create ASCII art other than using that app. The line spacing of the forums make it impossible to create things in notepad without having them stretched out, and that's if you can even figure out the font. The reply box is far from ideal, considering that the line spacing is also different and your work frequently gets deleted/lost.

As the holder of this sticky, I'm trying to encourage beginners to give ascii a shot, as its become increasingly more difficult through all the forum changes. I understand rules are rules, but I don't see the harm here. I only see harm in removing the link.

I wish the font size and type would stop changing. It's pretty disheartening when so many hours that you've put into so many pictures all become distorted because the forum font and size changes every few years. Thank you very much to everyone who has donated 5k
