He could also convert souls to soles, it's a 1000 to 1 ratio however....

Side note: did the Christmas event quest, got to say was rather disappointed, it was basically click 20 times total and space bar the whole time. I for one miss the old events, they had a puzzle(s) of sorts and really made it seem worth it after it was all over.

Perhaps, but before I tell fully answer that, you must have meet the following requirements, 13 smithing, 13 mining, 13 fletching, 13 invention, 13 crafting, finished all other previous pirate quests, and have done at least 5 clue scrolls.
