Maybe removed from the post count, but they will should never be considered spam.

Posts are only spam if they're off-topic or total gibberish. Considering the whole idea of post count games are to post numbers to count up/down to a certain number, they can't be considered spam.

The true question lies with whether post count threads should be allowed or not.. ;)

Well, the decision on post count threads was made over a year ago in a community discussion in this very forum. The decided result was that:

- A thread created for counting with no goal (count to oblivion) or simply to count (count to 5000 before Christmas) is considered spam and not allowed. The goal with counting threads is that they should be more than just counting up to a number and should contain some other aspect of the game.

- A thread which does not limit how often a player can post (meaning a player can post 20 times in a row with no issues) is considered spam and not allowed.

- To consolidate, threads wanting to "count to ## before this JMod" were combined into one thread, and additional ones to be created were closed. The consolidation of these threads was due to there being so many that they were taking over the forum, and many of them had little to no participation from their associated JMods.

So, there are times when a count thread can be considered spam (and probably a few more that weren't mentioned in the above too).
