I would have to agree with that statement, considering that a lot of clan leaders that wanted me to join their clans just kept telling me to join while I was a guest.

I've been in my RS3 clan for close to 2 years now. Haven't capped in close to 2 years now And I don't even play RS3 anymore and i'm still an Admin

The best thing that I can think of is trying out guest chat for a certain amount of time and see if you like it or not.
