I think RC is better for the money rather than the xp on OSRS.

RC the original way on RS3 is not really worth doing except for starting money and/or Ironman accounts.

Runespan doesn't really have that great of rewards except for a Greater runic staff from what I've seen. :(

Just checked today @ Froud.

I believe that the only real use that it has is for ironman accounts, people who need starting cash, or for skillers who need money, although the amount of essence that it carries is quite nice. Using an abyssal titan with all pouches, you can almost make as much money per hour as you would when killing GWD bosses unless astral runes went down.
