question: at what point can a counting game be considered 'retired'?
I'm not referring to game threads that have been inactive for 2-5 years.

If a counting game for "Count to X before *something appears*", if the game hits 1000 or 1500 posts since the last profile meeting that criteria (or if the thread hits 2000 posts, with the last 1000-1500 not meeting the reset) for a reset, would it be safe to say not to bother creating a new version of the game?

^ That sounds more than reasonable.

Then again, I have no use for most counting games and wouldn't miss them if they all got locked and sent to Chewie. :P
Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
You can buy XP. You can't buy experience.
"...From The 'Scape" is very nearly here.

I like this idea to be honest. Gets rid of dead forum games.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.
