Greetings Forum Gamers!

It's been awhile since I've visited this section of the RSOF. I hope you've all been well. I've been keeping busy with mining, smithing, fletching, and posting in a few places. The time is nearly upon me once again...time to take a little break from posting, but not before I take care of some overdue business:

Thank you Twillow!! I appreciate your efforts to keep the RS Community updated as to what's really going on, cutting through the social media garbage that occasionally gets deposited here as if it were fact. You are a shining jewel of knowledge and grace!

Speaking of those other sites, one of the worst of the worst is Wikipedia. The fact that anyone is allowed to edit their pages to say the most outrageous and terrible things with impunity make it a site I generally avoid like the plague that it is. However, I do like the RS Wiki a lot. It is not perfect - I have noticed a couple of small errors and omissions - but for the most part, it is a GREAT resource that I have consulted many times recently to answer questions, locate elusive items, or refresh my recollection of quests long since completed. It is well-maintained and is a fine example that other Wiki sites would do well to emulate.

I would like to know as well. She used to be on the forums a lot. Now she's nowhere to be seen.

Maybe she's been working on getting those last couple of Dungeoneering levels before maxing the skill.

Yes Twillow, you are correct. It's not really my place to give out too many details, but it was two years ago this week he got hurt IRL and has had a long road to recovery. He talks about the physical therapy he's doing on FB. The therapists tell him to do something, and he does it, plus a little bit more. He's surprising them, which doesn't surprise me. Aslon is actually the one who introduced me to RS way back in the day. I wish him all the best!

Yeah, the past couple of years have been rough. Since the accident, walking - even standing - has been a challenge. I have every reason to be hopeful, though. I am doing very well with therapy. Both my therapists say they've seen improvements in me, and I've seen it for myself too. There is more work to be done before I can walk normally again, without a walker. I need to do more to regain my balance, and my leg strength. However, when I look back to where I was two years ago, essentially trapped in a hospital bed, I have come a long way - and I am just getting started. My recovery will take more time, and more work, but I know it will happen! Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

Right, time to say so long for now. I'm taking a break from posting for a little while.

The reason this time is I'm going to be spending some time training my least favorite skill. I've been working on Fletching for awhile, and now that I am able to craft diamond bolts, I need a reliable source of uncut diamonds. Geodes aren't practical, and I don't wish to spend a fortune buying them off The Grand Exchange. The Al-Kharid resource dungeon looks to be a good place to mine diamonds - however it requires Dungeoneering 75 to enter. My Dungeoneering is at 72, so it looks like I'll be spending some quality time working to level up my least favorite skill - the dreaded Dungeoneering!
