Live near the sea or inland?

Inland - safer from tsunamis and you can still access lakes if you want a natural water feature. Lakes are easier to swim in anyway and you don't have to deal with sharp sea shells, hot sand and crowds (depending on the lake).

Working outdoors or in an office?
