I grab onto it as you fire it and the force of your shot plummets me into the air with the arrow.

While the arrow is still ascending I manage to gain control of it, I withdraw my bow, and
while still ascending through the skies
I take that same arrow and I decide to

The arrow goes up and then comes down, hitting a Death Lotus assassin in the head miles away from your location. Their entire order is now in a full state of alert. They remain defensive, however, for fear of having another of them killed by this new and mysterious assassin whose identity they haven't discovered yet. The theory of an arrow shot straight up and hitting the assassin accidentally has been dismissed as ridiculous.
