So I definitely remembered seeing an old screenshot of this post on another forum back in 2012. Unfortunately I didn't save it at the time, and the link has long since died.
Out of curiosity I dug out an old hard drive not expecting to find anything, but sure enough there it was still sitting in Temporary Internet Files!

Talking about Xxx Neo xxX7 getting 200M XP in Fletching. This was the first time anyone had reached 200M in a skill, and we didn't know at the time that there was a 200M cap. It's crazy how much more transparent Jagex has become over the years versus how secretive they used to be! For anyone curious, at the time, on January 1st 2006, Neo posted on the rants forum upset that he couldn't train his Fletching beyond 200M XP. His concern was that rank 2, who had a name starting with the letter G, would overtake him for rank 1. He was worried that he'd lose his rank 1 spot because it was assumed that the hiscores would list people with the same amount of XP in alphabetical order instead of on an "I was here first" basis. Luckily, Jagex either changed the hiscores before it became a problem or they had already implemented this prior with good foresight, and it was a non-issue. Neo still holds rank 1 to this day!
This is actually what led me to the forums this time. I was hoping to find the original thread (silly of me to believe it might still exist, I know, rants was a crazy place back in the day and Chewy is an insatiable beast). Figured I would check up on my baby, this thread here, while I was visiting!
