Sam please make a four lined signature with your choice of text, so I can see where you are at with the new font. Feel free to look at any of the guides.
¸•°*˜*°•¸…...................¸•°*˜*°•¸ 3 Lines ¸•°*˜*°•¸…...................¸•°*˜*°•¸
…............ˆ›¸............¸‹ˆ.............. Are Fun …...........ˆ›¸............¸‹ˆ..............
…................ˆ¤„¸¸„¤ˆ..................... See? .....................ˆ¤„¸¸„¤ˆ..................(c)
Nice job, there are only a couple things we can do to smoothen these transitions out.
¸•°*˜*°•¸ I would suggest adding in a › because ˆ›¸ is at about a 45º angle, and without that › it would come down too steep. (c)
¸•°*˜*° ›¸
…..............ˆ›¸
ˆ¤„¸¸„¤ˆ Personally I think ¤ are too thick when directly next to ˆ and also generally don't work too well in a wave that opens up. (upside down wave) Also I think this upside down wave could be a bit more gradual. Maybe
ˆ›¸
......ˆ › „¸¸„ ‹ ˆ
¸•°*˜*°•¸ Same thing, except. ¸‹ °*˜*°•¸
I also replaced the • with a space, because now in the new font • and › are too close together height-wise.
For your next assignment please make a four-lined unsymmetrical signature with your choice of text.
1. I got absolute zero hours of sleep last night, because I was doing this walk for cancer that my town hosts once a year. I have nothing left in my tank
.
2. I am going to give you a writing assignment in the meantime*****;:} Please write a short paragraph about what you think your style is like, and what goes through your mind when making a signature. I honestly don't care if you don't want to do this lol, but thought it might be interesting. You could also write out "Runescape" in all four text types.
I enjoy making signatures; it's fun, like a smaller version of ASCII art. Over about 6 months, my signature making style developed. Nearly all of my signatures have a few strikethroughs in them, a bit like this:
¸,•°'´`'°•¸
...... ,•°•.,'
...... ',¸¸,' `›,¸¸
It's just so fun when you can explore just what you can do in signature making. So many possibilities; so much experimenting.
¸„‹°*ˆ*°›„¸˜°¤¸ I Like ¸„•°ˆ°•
ˆ›¸ Making..ˆ°•„¸¸„•°ˆ¸„¤°˜°¤
…..ˆ›„¸„‹ˆ..Unsymmetrical ¯¨-·
˜*°^•›.„¸¸„.‹•^°*˜ Signatures
Nice job. As far as design goes, this seems a bit blocky. Unsymmetrical signatures tend to be the opposite of blocky, but I suppose that doesn't really matter.
¸„‹°*ˆ*°›„¸ Remember never use , or „ before ¸ in a transition. Also this needs another mid height symbol. Maybe ¸„‹¹*ˆ*° ›¸
ˆ°•„¸¸„•°ˆ This looks too much like this `\__/´ Kinda like two halves of a right side up wave. ˆ°•„¸ + ¸„•°ˆ This can be solved by replacing high symbols with low symbols. For example ˆ›„¸¸„‹ˆ
¸„•°ˆ°• Same as above ¸‹ °ˆ°•
ˆ›„¸„‹ˆ This may transition a bit better as ` ›„¸¸„‹ˆ or maybe even ¨- .,¸¸„‹ˆ
¸„¤°˜°¤ each symbol seems to have too great a difference in height to its adjacent symbol. This might work better ¸„¤º°º¤ or ¸„¤^°^¤
Nice job, for your next assignment please make a 3 lined signature with the following text, whatever type, just not normal.
Can you easily see
where I transition?
Hopefully not
A nice refreshing breath of old school Sam, haven't seen any older artists in a while.
¸¸„‹*ˆ¯ˆ*›¸ The asterik has been raised with the font change. I would recommend throwing in another mid-height symbol. Maybe something like ¸¸„‹³*ˆ¯ˆ*¹›¸
`·.„¸¸_ I'm not sure if this symbol varies in height with different browsers, but · seems to be slightly too high for this transition. `›.„¸¸_ or `-.„¸¸_ work ever so slightly better. If the transition was a little more gradual/flat then it would work fine.
.¸„‹*ˆ¯ ˆ · . „ I would add in another mid-height symbol. .¸„‹ ²*ˆ¯ ˆ ™ · . „
That design on the right looks pretty neat, is it supposed to look like something in particular?
