I was interested to see how long this thread might last.

I just checked the last thread to see how long one of these usually lasts. it was about 3 and a half years, with over 10900 posts (roughly 11000). This one's one and a half years so far, which is almost half that time, but we don't even have a tenth as many posts as the last one yet, so if this is going to have 10900 posts and we have 810, that's...er...

810 is 7.4% of 10900

1.5/0.074 = 20 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS?!

...I hope I made a mistake somewhere.

There's no way I'm going to keep playing this for 20 years just to get the 'veteran' status. *sigh* Guess I'm doomed to remain a noob.

Oh wait, no I just checked and veteran is having stayed in for one real life year, so I guess we both have that achievement. I thought you had to stay for one whole thread. Huh.

Heck, I think we've both been active 2 years. that's...actually kinda sad, we all really need to get lives.

Or...maybe i'll just take a break.

Haha I've just been looking back over our earliest posts which are much shorter and much more...well, friendly. And fan-fiction-y

soo...is 'Mad Guy' mad as in angry, insane, or both? Also, is his name Guy? Would it be technically accurate to call him Guy even if that's not his birth name?

i guess my narration has matured a little, seeing as how i developed my character while writing in the thread. it went from being a hopeful adventurer seeking action to being a dark, brooding and ruthless, yet honorable character who seeks redemption. definitely changed

as for the other part, it leans towards the angry side, though i think my character also has a tinge of mental insanity, seeing as how he can brutally murder his enemies and appear unfazed by it when most people can hardly forgive themselves after killing a single human being. with the name, i decided to leave the real name unknown since it would be forgotten at that point. i wanted to create my character so that he ran away from home in search of adventure at a very young age and hasnt been called by his real name since. calling him "guy" would be appropriate, but he could probably adopt a new name eventually. ironically enough, i seem to have more fun with the forums than i do with the game itself

hmm, when i think about it, the wiki needs some new articles if it wants to be complete. apparently only i regularly check on it while others have either put their own articles on it (yontyv creating his article and duncan creating an article for his own character and elessa) while others have simply left it to rot. there is no mention of any of the significant battles and xox has yet to have his article

We could begin to update them, perhaps we could make a wiki page for each arc.

Yontyv arc.

Zelerian arc.

Xox arc (so far)

I think that's all the ones we've been in so far. I guess those would go on the character's page, actually. hmm.

there is, but the majority of the articles (in other words all of the articles not written by me, yontyv or duncan) are rather outdated. i wont tell the link, but just google forum fight wiki

EDIT: i cleaned up a bit of my article as some parts showed signs of redundancy. i will also refrain from adding more onto the history until the end of the fight against xox (if ash*in finally decides to make a move, otherwise someone else will have to control xox for him)

Sorry it's taken me so long to post just I've recently got a new dog so I've been quite busy lately.

Any way where were we? Ohh yes...

*Xox moves to the side and stirikes Very Mad Guy as he starts zooming passed. Sending him into a wall.*
