Oh, no, whoever Ash is here for is in the cell opposite Natasha's.
She's just there because it was the only place I could introduce her that wouldn't end up with me either wrecking Ash's entire narrative, or sparking a everyone-against-Natasha battle royale that, while entertaining, probably wouldn't be
quite
what everyone else is after at the moment.
She and the rest of the fighters--barring your character, that is--have a slight amount of history, you see.
Last time they met, there was bit of banter, a shenanigan or two, and about fifteen counts of attempted murder... you know, the usual.
(I'm not even confident she's actually
going
to be released when Ash*in and co reach the prison - which is the rest of why she's actually there. I want to see what people are going to choose)
---
It's really rather boring being a prisoner, you've discovered. If you were capable of empathy--or sympathy, for that matter--you might wonder if this was how some of those you captured for your master are feeling right now. Somehow, you doubt it. They're probably too busy screaming to be bored.
You'd try and talk to whoever's in the cell opposite to yours, but it's no fun being a sadist when you only have your words - Harbinger might be able to flay a man alive--figuratively
and
literally--with a few, carefully-chosen sentences, but you much prefer using your sword. You never make threats you can't back up, and, right now, being chained to this post has put a slight hamper on your ability to eviscerate somebody in front of their entire family.
Maybe somebody else would be disturbed by the casualness with which you consider the sort of acts that got you locked up in here in the first place, but quite frankly, you'd be more worried if you weren't. It's proof that your mind is still your own, and, really, that's one of the few things you care about these days.
And so, you hang there in silence, waiting for something interesting to happen.
