Unalligned is a different type of art completely different to both mixed and alligned although
it is alot harder to do. Most beginners start with alligned so this guide is for people who have
either mastered alligned, or want a challenge.Unalligned is useful when drawing in greater
deatail, as the keys are so much smaller, generally, people use these:

_¸.,-•~¬^º°"`´¨¯ }{|l!*<> and any other key which you can find with alt codes
This means it is quite complicated to master. However, if you find it too hard, you must never ever
ever copy other peoples. People, including myself and vipers despise copiers for their lack of
gratefulness towards the person who actually made it. Also, copiers out there, never copy the dragon with a bump sign, the flying mario picture, peter griffin and none of saphir*'s work either. Most copied pictures are unalligned pictures, yet have noticeable mis-allignments or accidental smiley faces, especially where the artist's name was. Truely original pictures by experienced artists, 95% of the time, have little or no flaws in allignment, and look exactly what they are supposed to look like. Most people draw with what they want to draw in the background although some people do draw over the picture, this is called tracing and will be explained later on.
Hope you learn something in my unalligned guide and thankyou for reading. Also one quick reminder,
all pictures are to be posted in the "Bored? Draw #ere" sticky at the top of the page.

Lines

Lines are the most important part of the picture so you need to get them accurate. In order to do this your lines must be in the
right place and the right thickness. To my last point, the thickness, here is how you do it.

A thin Line
"-,
...."-,
........"-,
A thick Line
^=,
.....^=,
..........^=,

use bigger keys such as =^¬•¸ and keys as big as possible, to get thinner lines use keys such as _,-~"¯{} which are
pretty thin. Also notice that the lines are straight, this is because i keep the pattern the same, ^=,. Curved lines will be
explained later on.

Curved Lines
the starting pattern is ~~~---,,,_

To get the second pattern, a neat trick is to take characters no. 1,3,5,7 and so on. Then put them together.
In the end it should look like this.
~~-,,_
So it would be...
~~~---,,,_
. . . . . . . ~~-,,_
which is a slight curve, you do the same thing with the second row and it carries on like that
carrying on still
~~~---,,,_
. . . . . . . ~~-,,_
. . . . . . . . . . . .~-,
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .~,
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .,

Shading

Shading makes a picture look 3d so it is important in quite alot of pictures. In unalligned shading you need only 3 keys, .:;
and sometimes others but i won't say those. In shading you need to keep the same light source through the whole picture
otherwise it looks weird. You also need to think about the sides of the object you are shading say i was going to draw a sword,
i would shade it like this.

.....;;;;;
.....;;;;;
.....;;;;;
.....;;;;;
.....;;;;;
and it looks like it has 2 sides going to a high angled point. Also you can see that the light source is coming from the right.
Dark {.......:..:...::..:::.:::::;::;::;;::;;:;;;:;;;;:;;;;;;}Light
That is a gradient for shading in unalligned. Do remember that when you are drawing the darkest bits in your drawings is
the opposite on the forums. Also notice that the gradient is smooth and looks round, this is because i have mixed the
characters together. If i didn't, it would look like it has 3 sides:

{.................:::::::::::::::::::::;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;}

mixing is a useful skill and you need it for things like poles.

..:.:.:::;:;;;
..:.:.:::;:;;;
..:.:.:::;:;;;
..:.:.:::;:;;;
..:.:.:::;:;;;
Now that does not look like it has 3 sides but 1 side which is curved. The light source is still at the right though but it doesn't have to be, it could be on the left..

Using all you have learnt from just this part of the guide you could create a picture like this sword going through the earth, it uses all the techniques. But remember there are still more tips to come.

Unalligned - Curving
If you want an average unalligned curve, add lower characters, occasionally adding one or two middle characters, Dashes ( - ) normally. If you are looking for a curve, add some higher characters.
Curves come in handy when you are doing circles or something rounded. Here are some examples;
Average Curve:
¸¸,,..--^ˆ

High Curve/Long Curve:
¸¸,,..--ˆˆ
I normally prefer using an Average curve for when I'm using curves. Honestly, Those are very good curves (Not bragging at all). If you make a *big* circle, It helps you in almost every drawing because it has all angles basically.

A Beginners Guide for Saving Character Space:
Requirements- Wordpad/Notepad and knowledge on typing Alt codes
Main Alt code used in project- Alt+0133 "…"
Ok, in this guide I will show you how to save character space when you most need it.

Example #1:
Cinna..................................¸--·¤º°`¯¯``'''¤·-.,¸
DLU.................................¸-*;:....................... . .`-¸
.....................,-'.............¸-*;;;;::........... ......... .. . . . .`-,
.................,-'`¸`..........¸·';;;;;;;;:::............. ....¸--¤¤ºº''`/,'
..............,-'.,'',-'-,...,-',...`¸;;;;;;;;;::::......... ..,-';;;;;;;;.'¸·`

Whoops can't fit anymore (2000 character limit)
I don't want this to happen to you
So what you do is.....
*Open Wordpad (Awesome place to make drawings)
*Copy and paste the drawing here
*Highlight everything and change the font to Arial, 9
*Highlight everything and prest Ctrl+H, a window will show up... Where it says "Find what:" type in 4 periods .... and where it says "Replace with" type in Alt+0133 … (only 1 time) then click on "Replace All" and then your done it should let you have way more space like this...

Example #2:
Cinna……………………..¸--·¤º°`¯¯``'''¤·-.,¸
DLU…………………….¸-*;:……………... . .`-¸
…………….,-'……….¸-*;;;;::……... ……. .. . . . .`-,
………….,-'`¸`……..¸·';;;;;;;;:::………. …¸--¤¤ºº''`/,'
………..,-'.,'',-'-,...,-',...`¸;;;;;;;;;::::……. ..,-';;;;;;;;.'¸·`
……...,-'.,'.',-'`,'.',/,-,.\….`,;;;;;:::::::…. ...,-';;;;;;;;;.'¸'
……,-'.,-''`-,'`-''`,'-,,-',',….';;;::::::::……,';;;;;;;;;;;;,.|
…...,'.',…,'`-,''`,-'..\.'.,.\…..};;::………..`,;;;;;;;;;;;'.',
….,'..,'.,- -,...'-,../..,'-,.,.\…,':::……… ….`,;;;;;;;;.','
...,','..¸-' · ,-` · ,-' · ',.\,.`.\..,';;;::……... . ...`,;;;;.','.`
..,','…/.,-'/'-,...,-'..`-¸,'..,.,-';;::……………..',.','.."
.,'.',.-../..),-'.· `,.'`..'/.,.,';;;:::……... ……. …..¤..,'
Yay, you can fit in more stuff now!
Thank you!
