Welcome to your final year here at PSS. You are now an expert signature artist. You will be learningthe most convuluted techniques to make epic signatures. You shall polish your skills until there isnothing more you can do to improve. Then once you have perfected everything… The ultimate test, you will have the oppurtunity to take the Graduation Test.
Tags are small unsymmetrical signatures. They usually just contain your name, and are often
Alt-Spaced. They are small, and easy to make, but they can look epic. They usually are three lines,
but can be four.
Image signatures are signatures which are comprised of one or more images. These are very hard to make, especially since they can still only be four lines like any other signature.
• Use small symbols
• Make the image based off something everyone will reconize
• Use unusual symbols. A > could make a nose, a 3 could make a hand. Be creative!
One and two liner signatures can be very hard to make, because of the very small workspace. But, if you manage to do them correctly they will come out very professional.
You'll want to use very compact waves, to keep the signature on two lines. Strikethroughs work in two lines, so you should be able to include them as well. Here are a few compact waves and strikethroughs:

What is a Split Text Signature do you ask? Well it is fairly self-explanitory. It is where the text of the
signature is split up. It is unlike an unsymmetrical signature, because it IS symmetrical.
Still confused? Look at the header?
So, how do you make one?
So, Let's take this text for an example:
The
Hit||Man
You want to split the text where the || are. Also it looks so much cooler if you can read the text
multiple different ways. This text you could read it like: The Hit Man or Hit The Man.
So, Let's start to make the signature.
{………..¸‹-·¬·-›¸
.'¸……¸-´…….<-- See how this look like a good Place for text of different sizes?
...`·–·´………...Put your first piece of text in there.
{………..¸‹-·¬·-›¸……...The
.'¸……¸-´…)-(it…`¸…….¸ˆ..Now Mirror it
...`·–·´…………….'.,¸¸,‹¹
{………..¸‹-·¬·-›¸……...The
.'¸……¸-´…)-(it…`¸…….¸ˆ¸…….¸´….Man…`-¸…You won't be able to mirror the periods
...`·–·´…………….'.,¸¸,‹¹…¹›,¸¸,.'…………….`·–·´...next to the split text. Just add some or take some.
First horizontal, then diagonal, and now vertical? Yes, that's right. This concept is pretty straight
foward, and not as dificult as diagonal mirroring. So, let's get to work.
So if you wan't a 4-lined signature here's what you do. Pretty much you just make a two-liner first.
Just don't mirror it.
Now time to mirror it. Take your signature so far.
Add on two more lines and this is how you start. So take º•›¸ and to mirror it you have to find the
equivilent of it upside down. That would be something like ¸„‹º Remember they should be EXACTLY
the same length.
This is most likely by far the most complicated, tedious, and dificult technique there is.
I recommend only extremely experienced artists attempt this.
So what is Diagonal Mirroring you ask? Well it is a very uncommon way to mirror and chances
are you've never heard of it, let alone attempt it. It sounds pretty straight forward, and it is, BUT
to actually do it is very difficult. Instead of mirroring normally (horizontally) you mirror diagonally.
So '›.,¸¸__¸¸,.‹´ would not be mirrored as `›.,¸¸__¸¸,.‹' but as something like ¸‹· ¹'´¨¯¨`¹·¸.
Some things cannot be mirrored correctly. Example: ',¸¸„‹´ --> ¸‹·*ˆ*¸ See? It just doesn't work.
A couple things you have to remember when mirroring diagonally is to mirror with the same style
AND Length. They should be the EXACT same length. That is very important. Also, you still need
to mirror the periods!
¸·*ˆ¨...Spicing It Up...¨ˆ*·¸
'.,¸¸„‹´.¯¨`ˆ°º^^º°ˆ´¨¯.`›„¸¸,.'
Ok so let's get down to it. Adding spice involves many different things, but to put it simply it's
making your signature not boring.
First off: Use as many different symbols as you can! Don't just use the basic ¸‹•*°*•›¸
If you do that your signatures look like everyone elses. You don't even have to use symbols from
the all-character wave. Here are some cool symbols to use. ~+=™<> Etc. However they can
be hard to make flow so be careful with that. Try any symbol you want! Even letters!
Look:..`¹·,...¸,..,¸
.................V
BE CREATIVE!
Second off: 1 Lined strikethroughs and intricate designs! I know you're thinking,
How the hell am I supposed to make a strikethrough in one line?!?! It's actually quite simple.
Small Simple one: ¸¸;›
More intricate one: ‹;´¸¨¸`,·,'¸¨¸¸„‹
The key is to alternate between the high and low symbols, and use symbols like semicolons
‹ and (.
Thirdly, you can add little things in there such as crowns \±‡±/ or things like ¨`ˆ"*^^*"ˆ´¨
The most important thing is to come up with your own ideas! Have fun!
A personal mark is a way to show other artists who made the signature, and may lead to exterminating copiers. A personal mark is a mark that no one else should use, it is usually a wave, a symbol, a combination of symbols, it may also be how the text is made or the specific type of shading. It's just something that is unique about every artist and their signatures.
