djentytone, for beginners it's good to start out drawing simple shapes and figures, like a triangle, square, or smiley. You can play around with them by combining shapes (for example draw a house using square and triangle, then use a rectangle for the door), drawing a design in them, or turning a square into a cube and a triangle into a pyramid.
