The Golden Kebbit
... an excerpt from the journal of a hunter ...
They say if you spend too much time in the desert, you start to see things. Apmeken playing with your mind. Amascut leading you to your doom.
But I’ve seen it.
A kebbit. Fur more golden than any Pharoah’s Tomb.
Some of my friends think I’ve gone mad. Others say that I’m just mistaken. “It was just another Desert Devil” or “water and sand in your eyes with the glare of the sun”.
Excuses. Lies. Deceit! They try to keep me from the truth!
Ten years I’ve scoured the Kharid for it. I’ll search a hundred more if it means I prove that I am right!!!
