Yes, there is a Sith Emperor who has lived for 1,000 years so that he can launch a massive attack and take revenge on the Republic. He uses dark rituals to extend his life. Sidious knows nothing of the sort, so he's a noob in comparison.
I also assume Chuk is busy with college work and hadn't been able to play. But then, that's what everyone says. I still find a few hours a day for Swtor.

Busy with college and already playing an MMO in the form of LotRO. Also, $60 up front plus $15/mo. isn't very friendly looking.
And that's lame that I can't try it for free because I already registered on the site, way back in '10. Or maybe even '09. But forever ago.

Well, you still CAN try it, in the form of registering a new e-mail address which I can send an invite to which will then lead to the creation of a new account on the official site. Or have you current profile deleted and remove yourself from their mailing lists etc so you can use your current one instead. The latter is not tested, but it is what I would do if I want to retain my forum name and use the same e-mail address.

Aha College... I find that the lack of money and procrastination is far more time consuming than actual College work; that is, unless it's the Finals, which it is for me... >.>

Yeah, but more work than I'm willing to go through, I think. We'll see if I get to it or not, now. This move by the developers doesn't really make me more eager to try it, y'know? I'll wait 'til they launch a real free trial when I also have time that it'll be worth signing up. Past few weekend trials they've done, I've been traveling.
Anywho, at some point, I assume they throw out a real, open to anyone 7 or 10 day trial like WoW's done, if they don't go straight to the f2p model that LotRO's taken.
