Oh dear! Perhaps I was a little too obscure. It was around a wife of a British soldier, currently a prisoner of war in Afghanistan, in an affair with another man. She admits that she has slept with another man after the husband rings her up consistently to check up on her. The husband is obviously heart broken and hangs up the phone, and the wife is distraught that she kept the secret up till now.

How did you find the "Gutter"?

Ah that is a shame. I was trying to put across the drunkenness through the irregular line length of the poem. It seems I am going to have to do a little more work on The Sun, the Moon and the Truth to make it a bit more obvious I guess.

*Scratches head.* Well, I figured someone else would beat me to it. Good thing I kept the ol' gears turning just in case! I'll have to take a look at the poem soon!

Just had a go at one of those Found Poems I've been meaning to do. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I believe I did it on such a powerful subject, and I hope I got some of that feeling through it.
