*End Flashback*
Zert sighed. "So, 007Ki, when can you help us...?"
007Ki paused one of his generals mid-sentence. "Look, Zert, more important things are happening right now. Things have been set into motion that cannot be undone. When the war is over, we help you."
Zert shook his head. "You don't understand, there isn't time... and, why is Golden Blades attacking you? They're supposed to be our allies."
007Ki shook his head. "Atery was our ally. Undershadow took over, and doesn't seem to understand what is going on. He said something about a betrayer, and that he would restore honor to his clan..."
Zert sighed and turned to Jay. "Look, there's nothing we can do here. The best we can do is wait, and help them with what we can. 007Ki, when is the battle?"
007Ki sighed. "Tomorrow, early tomorrow."
Jay looked to Zert, then to Itari. Itari frowned. "What should we do, Zert?"
Zert shrugged. "Until the program is realeased, we do have a little bit of time. We'll help 007Ki win this war tomorrow, then we'll have him and Atery help us recover the staff."
Jay replied, "Problem- Atery is gone, banned, I think."
One of the generals turned, revealing his face- Atery's face. "I'm right here."
Jay's mouth dropped. "What the... what's going on?"
Atery grinned. "A lot has happened since lat we spoke." He eyed Zert wearily, then looked back to Jay. "Jay, I believe it may be entirely possible to avoid this conflict in the morning. If you'll come with me to Undershadow, I'm sure we can talk him out of this."
Jay was speechless, "What..how..?"
Atery laughed a bit. "We'll talk about it with Undershadow, I prefer to only explain myself once."
Jay nodded, and prepared to return to Undershadow.
