Wow! I think this story is brilliant, it not only presents a side of Runescape that many players have never considered, but also talks about life, love and friendship in a unique way! Brilliant!
After profiling this, I don't regret it. Wow.
I was expecting another one of those Barrows Brothers tales.
I don't really have any comments on this - great spelling and I'm so glad that your grammar and punctuation was correct (I hate it when people are grammatically incorrect, it gets on my nerves). Also, Cantonese as your first language? Impressive.
I have one question though;
Is there a moral to this story, or a point you'd like to get across?
(I mean, I loved the story-telling, but I don't feel that there was quite enough intention to it). No hard feelings.

Hey Sir Heroden,
Thank you for reading my story
. I can't believe people still read this almost four years since it was written. I'd even forgotten much of everything that went on inside this story and what it was about until you reminded me again today. Once again, thank you
Hey Thread,
Thanks for reading
. I'm glad you don't regret it, as a few individuals did and came to tell me about it. I'm not entirely sure correct spellings and grammar is the point and purpose of any story though. To me, it's always about what emotions or feelings or memories the story invoke upon the reader that determines the true worth of a story. Incorrect grammar and punctuation detracts the reading experience for some, but I don't believe they are the essence of a story.
In answer to your question, yes and no. To me, a story is a mirror - it shows the reader what he/she already has inside. This is probably why a lot of readers come away with wildly different experiences and believe this story means different things. For example, someone took from it that Love is the most powerful but also the most destructive thing for a human soul; someone else thought that Alex Kipplin was a pathetic individual who wastes his life on a video game; others thought this as an argument for true love and its definition. Early posts are full of what the other readers thought and you can always check them out. Of course there were morals that I designed as a part of story planning, but people ultimately interpret it and take from it whatever they wish to take from it, which I think is the beauty of story writing. If you ask me what that moral is... well, I suppose I can find out for you. It's got to be written down somewhere and I probably have forgotten it now.
Not entirely sure what you mean by 'intention' though. Can you elaborate? And of course no hard feelings
. Over the years I have seen practically all sorts of comments and criticisms. But I still like to hear them
.

Ruben, you get your own special post
Apparently...
...
*silence*
POWER!!!! *Uses Force lightning* UNLIMITED... POWAH!!! *Throws Ruben out of window*
Ah... *sighs of relief*
I feel much better now.
As for the why... well, there's no why. Been catching up on what's going on in the community lately and found a Noob story rated by two people as 10/10 that dominated the Story Directory Misc. Section. Despite my time in The Novelist Guild reviewing and helping other writers and rating their stuff on the Directory not *one* bothered to do the same for me.
So... yeah, I had to blast someone with Force Lightning for that
