Welcome to my story, "Echoes of the Gods: Silence Fractured"


This story, the first installment of the Echoes of the Gods series, occurs around the time of the God Wars (though I've changed the Gods' names for my own reasons). It is completely fictional, even within the realms of Gielinor; that is to say, I have not made any effort to ensure canonical accuracy.

Originally, this was my third story on the RSB. I started it in December 2007, and in May 2010 the first thread maxed, so I have reposted the story here for reader convenience. In addition, everything posted on this thread has been subject to some revision, so those of you who read the old version may be interested in reading through it once more on this thread. Until completed, I will be striving to post a rewritten chapter at least once a week, if not more often. (Obviously, I have yet to come remotely close to this, much less actually manage it.)

About the Author:

Away from RuneScape and the forums (as of summer 2014), I'm attending college studying geology at Oregon State University. Despite my chosen major, I would prefer to make a career of writing; however, for now it's only a hobby. This story is my first attempt at writing anything of significant length, and as such, it's probably more than a bit rough around the edges. You'll have to forgive the plot holes and inconsistencies.

My hobbies (aside from writing) include reading (of course), soccer, RuneScape, Lord of the Rings Online, some console games, hiking, and camping. Almost everything I read is either Science-fiction or Fantasy, just like everything I write.
