reading this makes my brain hurt... how would the animals that are needed for hunting live but the npc's die... i would expect npc's to be able to learn long before characters who are already player controled.

well, in the future runescape the npcs are very similar to the npcs now. they dont do anything except say a few pre programmed messages. Jagex made animals have living breeding populations, or at least thats the idea behind it. bump
