It was raining that afternoon as Misthalin received dreadful news as their king has now passed. It was spring now, and the season of the year couldn't be such a time to lose of the most respected people of the Kingdom. The Royal family mourned in closure and thus began plans of the funeral. When Virgo, ruler of Seros hears of this, he is delighted. Virgo is the King of Seros, the underworld, named after the zodiac sign of when their people are most power, the Summer. For thousands of years both kingdoms have been at war which each others. In the ancient times, there was a battle between the two over who wanted more land. In general terms, Seros brought on the war in the first place. They simply wanted to overpower Misthalin. They refused and were enraged at the forward approach. Fury was before long out of control and the royal leaders of Seros began sending threats to Misthalin. Finally a battle began when a letterbomb was sent to the Duke of Misthalin, thus killing him altogether. The war continued for years until Misthalin finally won, defeating Seros at last. The King of Seros at the time was vulnerable, eventually taking his own life due to shame and depression. The once King Damen was gone forever as Seros was in peril. His successors took the throne and has been torturing Misthalin ever since. The kingdom are no longer at battle however Seros does victimize them every now then. King Jasper's time in ruling was coming to end so his son, Virgo became ruler after his reign. If you would like something to watch on Netflix, here you go = One Piece ^_^

The Royal family known as the Benedicts kept silence for weeks. The curtains were drawn, candles were lit, and their welcoming gate was now closed. The discussion of the new king was definitely being held. The Royal family only had one son. They never knew this could happen so fast. The original plan was once King Alexander II's time was up for the throne, the Prince would respectively take his position. However now that he was gone, Misthalin's royal people were coming together to figure out when the next crowning would take place. Although this definitely arose to a very typical problem. Alexander Benedict was simply an average teenager. Barely finishing school, he had no background knowledge of being king. In fact the plan was once he was in university, he would begin taking "royal lessons" from father when he was not in school and on holiday. Everyone around him would help him become a mature, responsible person. Alexander knew himself, he could not let his father down and agreed with this plan long before. They had only one lesson before his passing. It was a pleasant afternoon where Alexander learned how to properly sign a contract and the royal meeting process. The Queen of the Kingdom was pretty much in hiding now mourning over his death and planning the funeral. She began sending out guards to protect the Kingdom when she received a letter from a Duke in Seros discussing what they were going to do about the new king. She knew they were planning something, and they had to be prepared. Citizens of Misthalin sent their condolences through letters and roses. Messengers were responsible to sending these letters to their majesty, Queen Anne-Sofie and lying the roses near the family portrait of the castle. Alexander stared out the window in slience. The rain tapped against the window and he was in a dark state. Alexander was an ordinary teen like everyone else attending school when one day he saw his mother by the fire with a glass of wine in her hand. She was facing him from behind and he knew something was wrong. It was too soon for a sixteen-year-old to lose his father and Alexander went into deep sorrow when he found out. He swore to himself he couldn't hear anything around him when he ran up to his room and broke down crying. It hurt so much to cry at all, but he did for hours. Finally after composing himself, Alexander became mute for thee days. The Queen was worried and he eventually spoke at dinner when the first conversation was heard of becoming king. "I'm not ready," he said after three days of silence. This matter was expected. Alexander was the Prince, but an eccentric one. For one thing, he was still in school. And another everyone was planning to become writers and lawyers in school and Alexander's chosen profession was King, which brought envy and questioning to the society and families of his friends. He had fair grades in school, his room was always upside down, and was quite clumsy. One time the Royal family had a Christmas meeting thanking everyone in Misthalin for the gifts. They were all planning on thank-you cards and Alexander was late for the meeting. He woke up a half hour later from an interesting outing the other night. He was baffled when he saw the clock and arose immediately. After putting on clothes in a hurry and fixing himself he left the room for the Oval table downstairs. After hurrying down the stairs he slipped on the mopped floor running into the butler. Wine glasses and caviar crashed to the floor and the butler groaned. "Every single time..." He muttered. Finally Alexander arrived covering his cloak from the wine-stains. "You smell like caviar," the Duke of Misthalin whispered during a hearing from the King.

"Sorry I'm late."

In school, Alexander was an average student. His professor were good friends of the Royal Family and were often in contact of his grades. Every now and then, they had dinners discussing his performances making Alexander very comformable. No one would like to be seated with their teacher for dinner with parents. Alexander once remembered how a professor stopped by and wanted to make an anouncement by the table. He clinked his glass grabbing everyone's attention and broke it with the fork. Glass bits fell to the tablecloth, Alexander stared in silence. The professor frowned and shook his head. Alexander cleared his throat nonetheless and began conversing. He said how he was finally awarded a Mage merit in school that week. The students of Misthalin were divided into three fields. Mage, Combat, and Range. This was a skill needed for them when it came to universities. Directors of schools wanted to see how dedicated students were outside the classroom. It would be a very important acquiring because this would lead a student into the right path. Alexander was under mage. He chose the field when he was still a young one and loved it ever since. He wasn't very good though, so expectations of success was almost laughed at. The professor at dinner was for English and also a mage assistant for the class. He was still angry at Alexander for spending him off to Ape Atoll after casting a teleportation spell meant for Yanille, everyone passed except him. The professor returned in rags and a angry face. "Congraluations!" the Queen cried. "Professor, how is his progress?" The professor sighed and didn't answered.

"I'll take that as a yes...

His friends were different. Combat was the most selected field and most of them were in that one. They were out of the field for hours every few days of the weeks. Most of the young men of Misthalin were in combat. Their father were in the Royal Clan of Kingdom thus they had to make them proud. Gender did not matter, all the professors in this field trained everyone the same ways. The girls in this field were some the greatest fighters in the Kingdom and were very respected. They were not the nicest though, some of them hardly speak at all due to extreme focus and dedication. Alexander's friends were lucikly in Range and Mage. All of them were friendly and his best friends were in both of them. Lance in Range was the son of the Baron of Misthalin. He was part of the Royal Clan and very good friends with the King as well. Unlike Alexander, Lance excelled in school was one of the best Rangers anyone has ever seen. He hoped to join the Royal Arrows, who were like an army of rangers. They set off the protect Misthalin in different parts of Gielinor every winter. During spring they always return for deployment. His other Soleil was in Mage. Her family were all magicians. She was named after the Sun in a foreign language. However Soeil was a perfectionist. Her parents wanted her to best and like the Royal Arrows, the Mage version of this was the Enlightened Coven. They set off to other Kingdoms however not for battle, but to represent their original. They go off every other year and return biyearly each summer. A huge ceremony is held celebrating their arrival. If you would like something to watch on Netflix, here you go = One Piece ^_^

"He clinked his glass grabbing everyone's attention and broke it with the fork."
Why did he break the glass?

Very informative story so far. I skimmed through this last week and then did so again. We go through royalty issues, the professor, and back to the royalty, characters, and so on. I would suggest spacing apart the paragraphs, it makes everything much easier to read. Mass bricks of text isn't easy to go through and get confusing at times.

Mechanics were good, there weren't any typos or serious issues, but a few times you use wrong tense (usually with were/was). I feel you may consider thinking about storytelling and scene-building, as your style has a bit too much emphasis on telling the reader things that happened rather than showing what happens.

Instead of, "They did this, they did that, Zamorak is evil, Daemonheim is there, her family consist of only mages, the professor met the queen and said yes, the army of rangers protects Gielinor, the professor is working hard, they did this, they did that" you can portray the adventure, step by step, and what happens, and the action, to create a world and plotline. Show the adventure, show what happens, rather than telling what happened. You may have already had plans to do so, of course.

Men are able to mind-read if deemed necessary. Yes not anyone can read minds. Long ago,
a monk by the name of Ulric was sole follower of Guthix. The Gods then decided he should
be given special powers, thus telepathy was granted unto him. Telepathy is only rewarding
if a Mage successfully completes forty years of reigning or the blood of Ulric runs in your veins. The elderly known as the wise clan are a small coven of mind-readers. They are generally kept away from society for various reasons. Many times if a newborn comes to the coven for a blessing by the wise clan, they will be able to tell how the child will grow. If a member of a foundation is ill, they will be able to predict the aftermath, good or bad. lastly, once they die their spirit is sent back to the Gods, maintaining the balance. There is however only one sole survivor and a descendants of Ulric. Because his condition was so rare, he chose his life as monk over a girl named Sehar, a human sundial of the wind. the two gave had a child thus making him the only survivor able to read minds without having to join the Enlightened Coven. His majesty and the great Ashcroft wizard of Saradomin realms in the royal castle. King Alexander I and Ulric were good friends, encountering one another in the Jean-Baptiste chapel. When he became king and the other, telepathic wizard. Both welcomed each other in their homes to stay for generations to come. King Alexander had found a mage trainer for his future children and Ashcroft would basically protect the castle, enriching his own power and mind. It was contract well signed.
