Flare grabbed the other two, and burst through the doors, up the stairs, and out of the castle, not bothering to stop and tell the others of what was going on.
He flew as fast as his fire would propel him, still dragging Roy and Mane behind him. Eventually, the NCOR building came into sight and he dropped towards the building, releasing Mane and Roy who landed perfectly by the front door, and Flare landed in a crater.
"The hallway Kingnoob disappeared into after he claimed we were leaving. That must be where he is" Mane inferred, and rushed inside.
Roy slapped his hand on one of the walls as they passed it, and tore a chunk off, now knowing he had the ability to control steel. As they ran, he molded it in the form of a sword.
Flare quickly joined them, flying through the halls with an aura of hate seeping off of him. Quickly, the three reached the room and Roy busted down the door, finding another library, with a sword in a glass case in the center.
"It's... a dead end.." Flare growled, shaking slightly from anger.
Mane shook his head, and walked up to the far wall, placing both hands on it. After a few seconds, a hiss could be heard, and hidden mechanisms inside the wall began clinking. A whirring filled the room, and the wall split down the center, pulling off to either side.
On the other side, Derponet stood in front of a large cauldron, looking at them with a smug grin on his face. Far above them, and a ledge protruding from a wall, was c cloaked man.
"Moka! We know you're game, it's useless hiding it anymore!" Flare roared, and Moka pulled back his hood.
"I'm surprised it took you this long to figure it out! But the resurrection will take place, even without your buddy The Dark King!" Moka laughed, and the completely shadow version of Derponet walked forwards.

"I thought you were dead, Derponet" Mane hissed, his fists clenching tighter than they already were.
"Really? Now why the HELL, would I be dead?" Derponet roared, his mouth turning into a snicker. "And now, you three will die. Carnelius Nar will be resurrected. And we will rule over this land!"
"Not if we can help it!" Roy argued, pulling out his sword.
Derponet laughed, and spoke again when he stopped. "Fools! I am more powerful than all of you combined! What makes you think, you can beat me?"
Flare had had enough. He roared, and a stream of fire poured from his palms and mouth at Derponet, who leaped into the air and flew up. Flare snarled, and followed him into the air.
Derponet flew up, and hooked onto the closest wall. He looked at Flare, and released a knot of lightning bolts at him. Flare did not hesitate in the least, and blew another shot of fire from his mouth, disrupting the course of the lightning.
He burst through the smoke, and continued flying at Derponet, who released his grip and free fell to the ground. Flare roared again, and did a back flip from the wall, thrusting his palm down towards Derponet, and a ball of fire hurdled down towards him.

Mane grabbed Roy telepathically, and through him and himself atop the ledge, across from Moka.
"I thought we could trust you, that you wanted to help us." Mane said in a cold voice, staring Moka down.
Moka stood at the end of ledge, the heat of the lava below visible behind him. "No human being is that considerate. Why else would I want to gather the worlds four greatest powers!? Sure, The Dark King isn't here, but you three combined have enough power to do the resurrection without him!"
Roy yelled and charged, stopping just in front of Moka and slashed down. Moka shifted to his side, and pushed Roy hard, who began to fall towards the lava.

Roy free fell, his life flashing before his eyes. He braced, then felt something kick him. He smacked into the ground, and then looked up to see Flare zooming over the lava pit after Derponet. He smiled briefly, then got to his feet, running over to the ladder up the cliff.
***
Flare chased Derponet down with a fierce hatred, firing bolts of fire every chance he got. Derponet was begining to have trouble avoiding the flames, although he knew they would not harm him.
"Hold. The hell. Still!" Flare roared, releasing tendrils of fire from each limp and his mouth, each curving around and following Derponet. He was unable to dodge them for long, and they struck him hard, throwing him into the wall.
***
Mane stood across from Moka, keeping a close eye on him.
"Come on, make a move. I dare you" Moka taunted, having no visible weapon.
Mane thought, but he didn't know what to do. If he tried to push him, he might have the magical capacity to pull him in with him. If he charged, he could end up killing himself.
Roy reached the top, and looked between Mane and Moka. "Let's do this" He said to Mane, and quickly crunched and molded his sword to the form of a mace.
Moka laughed, and balls of white light appeared in his hands. "You can not stop me" He cackled, and sent the two balls of white light at Mane and Roy, who both dodged. When the energy hit the ground, they transformed into cages.
"We will try" Roy and Mane growled, and charged Moka. Moka did not move this time, and stood his ground, magical braces appearing on his arms as Roy got close enough to attack. A magical force around him prevented Mane's telekinesis from working.

Derponet opened his eyes, feeling a slight sting in his back. A brief memory of how to defeat the darkness flashed in his head, then remembered that with Flares strength, he might win.
Flare breathed angrily, smoke pouring from his nostrils. He took in a deep breath and blew a blast of fire at Derponet
Derponet's eyes widened, and he leaped from the wall. He thought he was free for a second, before he felt Flare grab him by the neck and hurdle him towards Moka.
***
Moka barely put up a fight, ducking around attacks or blocking them. Roy was begining to grow tired, while all Mane could do was sit back and watch.
"Tired, eh?" Mane cackled, and dodged again, quickly pushing Roy to the ground. "Pathetic attempt." He growled, and aimed his hand out towards Roy.
Man looks around, and saw that Roy's sword had slid off. He quickly grabbed it, and charged Moka, slicing down in his hand just before a blast of magic was released.
He roared in pain, and Mane pulled Roy back.
"How- .. you will pay for this!" Moka roared, standing at his full height. Mane charged, only caring about killing Moka now.
He got close enough to Moka, and avoided his an attempt at an attack. Now, with the open space, he pushed, and Moka started falling towards the lava.
***
Derponet groaned, and concentrated hard enough to land on his feet just between Moka and Mane.
***
Moka, in a last ditch effort to save himself, reached out to grab Mane. Although he was unable to see Mane anymore, he snickered as he felt his hand grasp someones collar. He sighed in cruelty, and fell back towards the lava.
***
Derponet turned to attack Mane, but then felt something at his neck. Suddenly, unexpectedly, he found himself flying down towards the lava, to shocked to teleport.
Together, Moka and Derponet, fell, and splashed into the lava, a hiss of their burning bodies emitting from the pot.

mane, Flare, and Roy looked over at the edge, expecting at least Derponet to come out ready to fight. He did not.
Mane shook his head, mumbling something, and walked towards the ladder down to the ground level. Flare followed Mane, and then Roy finally turned from the pot and followed Mane and Flare down to the ground level.
"Hey.." Mane panted, drips of sweat starting to appear on his forehead. "Why is it getting so hot in here?"
Roy too was begining to sweat, panting from the heat. Flare, unaffected due to his abilities, quickly created something of a bubble around the group that kept the rising temperature away from Mane and Roy.
"What the hell is going on!?" Flare demanded, then cracking echoed throughout the cave. Each turned towards the cauldron, and eight purple beams of energy flew from the ground and hooked the edges, causing the cauldron to shrink dramatically.
When it was about eight feet off the ground, the energy dissipated, and the lava began to bubble. The three's eyes widened as lava began to overflow from the pot, and then a large gloved hand came out.
The hand itself was unseen, only the dark green armored glove, studded on the knuckles. A matching hand appeared on the other side, and both pressed down on the side of the cauldron.
The body of a fully armored man began to come from the lava, the sides of the cauldron now shattering and lava pouring every where.
The mans armor was the same shade as his gloves; a dark green. As well as his knuckles, his shoulders, elbows, and knees were studded with spikes as well. The armor hugged his body, showing that he was much more musclebound than one could imagine.
His helmet covered most of his head, except his eyes and mouth. A dark grizzly beard could be seen, and a face that was either deeply dark or extremely filthy.
He stood seven feet tall, and had the build of several oxes. The word "Nar" inscribed itself on every wall.

Nar stood still for several seconds, taking deep breaths. Without looking at the three, he walked forwards; towards the exit.
Flare growled, and ran forward! "Stop!" he ordered, and sent a tidal wave of flames onto Nar. When the flames dispersed, Nar was untouched. He stood still now, and then turned towards Flare.
"I thought we could do this the easy way" He said in a deep and cold voice that could frighten even the strongest of warriors, and then he raised his right hand. A blue ball began forming, than one large blast of lightning shot from his hand, and struck Flare dead on.
"Let that be a warning to the rest of you." He threatened, and continued to walk out. He walked into the library, and smashed through the container holding his sword. He grabbed it by its hilt, and wrenched it from the stone.
"Serventas summonas" He chanted, holding his sword in the air. All of the sudden, it began to rain purple blobs, which molded into four foot tall rock-leopard-things.
Back in the summoning chamber, Flare stood still, tensed from the blow. Mane and Flare ran up to him, fearing the worst. As they neared, Flare roared and threw his arms out to the side, lightning flying out of his body.
"Flare.. since when can you deflect lightning?" Mane asked shocked.
"I can't.. that was luck. But it was also the most powerful thing I've ever seen.. how did he get here? I thought we needed to be sacrificed to resurrect him?" Flare asked.
"..Maybe it was just our combined strength that needed to be sacrificed.. and Derponet did say he was stronger than all of us combined.." Mane answered.
"Which explains why he has Derponet's lightning ability.." Roy finished, then shook his head. "Come on, we've gotta get back to the others and warn them."

"What did they do..?" Blue asked himself aloud, staring at the distant sky, which was begining to become a mix of black and red.
"Teleportation is still out" Wave sighed as he walked up to Blue, staring at the sky as well. "We'll have to walk, it seems."
Just as he finished, a sonic boom shook the city and a fireball could be seen approaching quickly. It soared over Blue and Wave, and crashed into the ground before letting off two other people.
"Flare!" Blue gasped, and ran over to where Flare crashed. A wall of fire went around Flare before Blue could reach him, and he walked out unharmed.
"What the hell did you guys do!?" Wave demanded, looking between Mane, Roy, and Flare.
"We.. we discovered that Moka gathered us for means of a sacrifice to resurrect a conqueror, Carnelius Nar, whom he worships. We ended up fighting him and Derponet.. and the two of them ended up being sacrificed instead. Long story short; Nar is alive." Mane explained, worriedly.
"What!?!" Blue exclaimed, the rest of the group now reaching where Flare had crashed. "Well..he's human! Why didn't you guys just kill him!?"
Flare looked down, ashamed, and then Mane spoke up: "As Derponet was used in the sacrifice.. he has all of Derponet's abilities. Including his shadow-life thing."
"God dammit.." Blue sighed, turning back towards the distant sky.
"..The artifacts.." Lizzy said under her breath.
"What?" Flare asked, being the only one to hear her.
"Mane, Flare, Roy, come with me. There are some people you should meet. Blue, take the others to the Falador hideout and get the cube. Everyone meet back here." She ordered, and began running out of the city; Flare, Mane, and Roy following her.

"Where the hell are we going!?" Flare yelled to Lizzy, who had gotten a fairly good distance ahead of the other three.
"Just hurry up!" She yelled back, and they continued walking. Flare sighed, and walked a little faster. After another few minutes, an ancient-looking structure could be seen, and Lizzy was headed right towards it.
Lizzy stopped as she reached the entrance, and it took a few moments for the others to catch up. "Alright, now that we're here can you-" Flare began to outrage, when Lizzy silenced him.
"Go, to the bottom floor. There you will find the alter of energy; you will know what to do when you get there." She ordered, and aimed her hand at a pile of wood, shooting a small air blast to uncover a staircase.
Roy, Flare, and Mane looked at each other and then went to the staircase, begining their descent. As they descended, the lights became more and more gloomy, and a strange power could be felt.
It was not a long journey down, and when they reached the bottom they found themselves in a room with a giant stalagmite touching the roof and ground, acting as a pole for the cavern. On their side of it, there were some strange markings and a hand hole.
Mane, remembering what he did with the other locks, walked to the hand hole and placed his hand in it, hearing an energy inside start to hum.
A loud crack made him jump back, and the three ran behind the pillar to where they saw a large stone table rising from the ground. When it stopped raising, all the previously lit torches extinguished and three eerie lights appeared above the table.
"Humans, you have summoned us" The middle spirit, a female, stated in a rather confused voice. "I am Survanet, spirit of the Gedunians."
"I am Santaren, spirit of humans." The one to her right said.
