Chapter12 - Beasts of hell


Jessica ran over to the fallen Revenant, and sat him up. Surprisingly, he did not phase through her hands. She leaned him against a tree, and tried to shake him awake. He groaned, and mumbled "mommy..." Jessica looked at him with an 'you're an idiot' look, then slapped him.

"What the!?! Who the!?! Pita!?!" the revenant yelled as he woke with a fright. "What the hell just happened!?!" He asked. "Who are you?" Jessica asked, reaching for a small knife she had, just in case. The Revenant looked up at Jessica, and thought for a second.

"You're Jessica, no? Oh I've been looking for you!" He yelled in delight. "My name is Rev, and I had a vision a while back-" "You had a vision of me?" Jessica interrupted. "Ok, there 'might' have been some beer involved... a lot of beer.. either way whatever I saw was true! You can control water!"

"Erm.. ok" Jessica responded, a little spooked. "So, Rev, why is me controlling water so important?" "Because! Oh don't tell me I have to spell it out for you. There are four chosen ones, each with a special power. BUT, myths tell that there would be a fifth to balance the group. No one else has powers like you!" He said, falling to the ground due to lack of breathing.

"Look, I was gifted with these powers. There was no stone involved, no prophecy, so if you're just gonna try to tear me out of my home then you'd better le-" She began, before sharp crack caught both of there attention. Jessica started to run, but a huge beast tore through the trees in front of her. She turned to run the other way, but a ring of the beasts had already been formed.

"Tikret" Rev coughed fearfully. "What?" Jessica whispered, backing up to Rev. "Death traps. All I have to say" He said, shaking in fear. The Tikret warriors chuckled cruelly, and advanced on there two victims.

The female mage watching the Revenant and Elf being surrounded by Tikret finally decided to take action. She stood up, and jumped down into the clearing Join The Questing Clan of RuneScape! !

Chapter13 - Mage


Jessica looked at the mage who had just entered the clearing–who looked to be in her late 30's–and cried "stop them!" The mage heard her cry, and took action. With great skill, she sliced at blast of fiery magic upon one of the beasts, and froze the one beside it. She spun around and casted a hurricane spell, sending a small group of the beasts crashing into the trees.

She heard footsteps, and spun around, grabbing the large Tikret warrior by its head. She pushed forward, and heard a satisfying crack. The Tikret warrior fell, and she casted another spell upon the two behind it. One Tikret remained, but before the mage could attack it had already fled the clearing, whimpering.

"Come, we're leaving" The mage ordered. "Hey L-" Rev began, before the mage spun around, recognizing the voice. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked. "You two know each other?" Jessica asked, only to be ignored. "I was trying to get her out!" Rev snapped back. "Well you did a good job of it!" The mage barked.

"Stop!" Jessica ordered, and stood between the two. "First off, who are you and who do you know each other?" She asked. The mage sighed, and took a seat on a fallen tree. "My Name is Lizzy, and Rev over there was an old ally of mine. A stupid one though." Jessica looked at Rev, expecting to see a reaction.

"No argument from me" Rev shrugged, and sat on the opposite said of the log. Lizzy sighed again, and stood up. "Come on, we're leaving. It's to dangerous out here." "No" Jessica declined."This is my home, why should I leave?" "Come if you don't want to be attacked again. One of the beasts got away, and there is no way it won't come back with help." Lizzy explained.

"But-" Jessica argued, before Lizzy grabbed her arm. "We're leaving!" She ordered, and walked down a path towards the road. "Three musketeers!" Rev shouted in joy, before Lizzy slammed her fist into his jaw. Join The Questing Clan of RuneScape! !
