There once was an ancient village terrorized by a monster named the Mediquin. Everyday it would come to the village and eat some of the people. The villagers had no idea what to do so they turned to the village elder
The elder thought for a bit then said, “You must dig a large hole. Place a goose in this hole. The Mediquin will fall in the hole trying to eat the goose and then you can kill it.”
So the villagers tried this. But the Mediquin walked right past the hole and gorged himself on more of the townsfolk. So they went back to the elder.
“Hmm. It appears I have underestimated the Mediquin. What you should do now is instead of a goose for bait, try a loon. Feed the loon nothing but sugar before placing him in the hole so that he becomes an irresistible treat to the Mediquin,” replied the elder.
So the villagers did just this. And when the Mediquin came he went right for the loon and became trapped, thus solving the villagers problems.
And there you have it- a loon full of sugar helps the Mediquin go down.
