NWF. What we managed to achieve in this industry was nothing short of breathtaking. Founded in 2007, we were never expected to achieve much. We were built in the shadow of past-day titans such as LDF, TWC and RDF. But within three months, we were already considered on their level. Within a year and three months, we had surpassed them completely. What NWF did in 2008 has never been matched. 2008 was the pinnicle of wrestling; we had more fighters, more companies and more competition than ever before. NWF took a clean sweep of awards and permanently established itself as an institution.
After the first PPV of 2009, joint-hosted with LDF, NWF decided to close it's doors on a high and took a near three year hiatus from the Wrestling industry. To this day I truly believe we'd never have returned if it was not for the people. On the turn of the year 2011, RSW was in it's worst ever state. Wrestling had severly gone down hill since the glory days. People had left. Companies had closed. New blood was hard to come by. The people of RuneScape Wrestling called upon NWF to return. And we answered them. NWF prolonged the life of RSW by another two years, bringing back past legends and promoting the new generation of Wrestling.
Our legacy is untouchable and our contribution is significant. Legends call this company home. Armortrolly called NWF "the best company I've ever been apart of", and stated "TNA started me off. NWF made my career." Kazokio Dave referred to NWF as both his favourite and the best company in RuneScape.
And then there's the talent we've produced. Spellman26. Jamsgg. Gweav. Jordf 06. Fuchsy. Multiple generations of wrestling talent in one company. Astounding.
And so, as I've been writing this first post, one thing has become very clear to me.
This company needs no introduction
