Jack gave her the coins, in exchange she gave him a small bronze key, "to your right is a hallway, it's the 3rd door on your left" she said without any enthusiasm. "thank you" Jack said, just being polite.
Jack dropped his bags on the bed, got out a parchment paper and grabbed the ink and feather the Inn had provided.
"Okay, I need to rescue feona" Jack thought
"what do I need to do to accomplish this?" Jack started brain storming.
"I need a good disguise to avoid detection in case, the city has been warned about me, or on the off hand chance I should come face to face with Zeke again, Which could happen." Jack brain stormed and wrote down his thoughts
"I need to figure out where feona is being held, Which..."
"which can be either be found out by, extracting information by force or I can go under a disguise and attempt to extract the information slowly which will most likely take to long in this situation."
"I need a workable disguise, but I don't know this city very well.."
Jack looked in the mirror.
"my hair is long, I can cut it" Jack grabbed his dagger and grabbed a handful of his long hair and swiped it, minutes passed as he finished.
"alright" Jack looked in the mirror, taking in his new appearance
"that is one thing changed.."
"I'll keep my current black fitted leather clothes for the time being, I don't think it will stick out here" Jack thought
"still look to similar to my previous self.." jack said staring in the mirror
"well I did learn that transfiguration spell..,it was suppose to be used in the desert to protect the caster's eyes from the constant glare from the sun."
"the only problem is..., I need a potion for this spell since, I didn't get around to mastering this spell, which i had thought was useless at the time."
"If I remember correctly the ingredients were a camel's eyes, A desert's spider carcass, and a water cactus seed mixed all together."
"alright, I should be able to get this all from a witch's house" Jack thought

"but how can i be sure, I have enough time to do this all?" Jack agonized in his head
"I can't do anything right now, so I guess the best choice is to go to sleep." Jack thought
Jack woke up the next day, and set out on the one of Zamorack's cities,
"Alright" Jack smiled when he first stepped outside of the Inn, He didn't want to admit it but he was excited to see what Zamorack's city had to offer.
He looked from side to side, seeing the city in the morning for the first time, The sunlight glared off some of the bricks to jack's left.
Jack decided to head to unknown area of the city, so he took a right.
The buildings all looked similar to jack, build from a sturdy frame of wood and a bottom part where the bricks were the foundation.
He passed a smith's hitting a hot piece of steel against a anvil.
A young woman was walking by, she was wearing a witch's black hat, and black robes.
"excuse me miss." Jack said
The young witch looked at jack, her eyes were bright green, they appeared to be glowing faintly.
"yes" the witch said
her voice was light and feminine
"I'm sorry but I can't help but notice your eyes.., that's transfiguration right?" Jack asked
"for those well acquainted with magic, yes." She answered
"well, I'm a student of magic myself" Jack didn't want to reveal he was actually a full fledged magician.
"Do you know where i could get some a pair of camel's eyes and a desert spider's carcass?" Jack asked
"that's weird, usually merchants don't come though here during the fall season..." The witch narrowed her green eyes suspiciously
"well, I'm on a mission" Jack laughed in his head at the truth of his words
"I'm a student of magic, from the southern region of Zaro's reign" Jack lied
"Well..., I was heading to the witch's apothecary myself, Would you like to tag along?" the witch asked
"yes, thank you" Jack replied
They both talked about rudimentary magic along the way to the apothecary, Jack tried his best to remember where he was, so he didn't get lost.

Jack was astonished at the sheer side of apothecary, He stared at the assortment of various colored glass potion bottles, ranging from light pink to dark blue to bright yellow, his nose caught the smell of the bags of spices and herbs that loomed somewhere in the shop. Jack marveled at the jars of miscellaneous ingredients, He saw a jar full of dead salamanders, another jar containing a coil of dead snakes. In the back of the apothecary there were selves full of books, jack noticed they were all about the different types of monsters you could encounter in Gielinor. He pulled out a book about slaying dragons it was called "Dragon's manual for slaying", it read
"If one wants to slay a dragon, One must learn the ways of a dragon, dragons are very rare beasts, only a select few can actually say they've seen one. Dragons range from the green backs to dragons that travel though dimensions, such as the allusive time traveling mithril dragon, Which some claim is a creature more suited for zoology then actual reality.
Dragons favorite past time is collecting items of worth, they love to pile up gold, jewels, rare weapons of importance. The only problem with this is, The dragons will kill for and destroy for treasure."
Jack sets the book back, He goes back to the jars and searches for the spider carcass, The selection is in alphabetical order,
"I just need any type of desert spider but preferably, the type with ten eyes"
Jack thought, Peering into a jar containing three large tarantulas.
"can i help you?" Jack turned around
It was a lady dressed in a Zamorack embroidered robes, Jack flinched at the sight
"do you have any types of desert spiders here?" Jack asked
"yes, what type did you need?" The lady replied
"I'm not really sure the name, but the ones with ten eyes and the size of your hand, I believe they are called sun scorpions"
"Yes, we have that, would you like me to bag one for you? The lady asked
"yes, also, do you have camel's eyes?" Jack asked

"we do, but they cost 130 coins, would you be willing to pay that?" The lady asked
"yes." Jack replied, looking outside, nervous about how much time he had left.
"I'll be right back" She smiled, she headed to a back door.
Jack paid the lady, then inquired her where he might find a cactus seed, she told him he could possibly buy one at the market that was coming in few days, Jack asked where he could get one faster, she told jack there was a farmer that lived in the back of the city that might be able to help him.
"Okay" Jack said to himself
"the farmer's house should be right around the corner." jack thought
He saw a house with a small yard to the side of it, with cabbage growing and lettuce.
"hello?" Jack knocked on the door
"Hello?"
"shut up, and state your business" a angry haggard voice replied behind the door
"I just wanted to purchase A cactus seed, I heard you would have some" Jack responded
"are you here for the king's taxes?" "because if you are you can leave now, I told you I would pay it off, after the harvest!" The voice raged
"No sir, I am just a Student of magic, I need the seed for a potion I'm making" Jack tried to soothe the man in a calm voice.
The door opened
A short middle aged man stood before jack.
"your a magic user?." The man said
"yes, my name is jack" Jack held out his hand with a smile, He figured it was okay to give a old farmer's his real name
"my name is martin" he shook jack's hand
"I would smile but I have quite a problem."

The man invited jack into his small house, they sat at a old weathered table, The man gave jack tea, He told jack he had a family to uphold, but the problem was his crops were doing horribly, they were all diseased, and he didn't know why, all the other years had done fine.
If the man didn't get his crops healthy within the next few months before winter, He would have nothing to harvest, The man then explained the king had already threaten to take away his family if he didn't pay the taxes. The family he was talking about was his daughter who had two kids.
"that's not good" Jack said
"But what does it have to do with me?"
"you're a magic user, use your magic." The man said
"what do you mean?" Jack asked perplexed
"I'm a old man, I don't have much but my crops and my pride, but if you can perhaps do a small favor for me, I'd be happy to give you a cactus seed, I know it's not much of a payment, but if you could find it within you, to help a tired old man out, I'd be very happy and in your debt."
"okay." Jack said
"show me where your crops are."
The old man lead him though a door at the back of his house that led to his small garden, then he walked up to a door in the city's wall. It lead to fields of corn.
"you see, they are yellowish brown leaves" the old man was touching the plant
"the stems are also all wilting and falling over"
"I don't know why they are all like this, it seems they are catching some sort of disease" the man added
"hmm, I could do a alchemy circle..." Jack said
"A what?" the man asked
"nothing, if you don't mind, I'm gonna take a look at everything" Jack said
"alright, I'll leave you to it, young man." the old man replied
Jack walked around the field of corn, wondering what type of spell would help rejuvenate the crops the best.
He tried a simple enchantment on a single corn plant, it was a spell used to heal wounds, Jack waited 5 minutes after he casted it, the plant didn't change.

Jack kept trying different spells until it was night fall to no avail.
"damn" Jack thought "who was I kidding telling that old man, I could heal his crops, I know nothing but combat spells..."
"I guess I give up..." Jack said
He started walking towards the old man's house preparing himself mentally to tell the old man, He would have to find another way to get the money this harvest.
Suddenly a flash of light struck down in front of him.
when the light faded there appeared a man with a long white beard, and a blue wizard hat sat on his head.
"Don't give up yet young man" The wizard held out his hand
Jack wide eyed quickly held out his hand to receive what this wizard had for him
Jack felt a small cold smooth stone dropped into his hand, He looked at it, it was a small green gem.
He looked back up to thank him, but he was gone.
"that's curious..." Jack said out loud
"what does this gem have to be with healing a bunch of crops?" he asked himself
"gems aren't used with magic.." jack looked up at the half full moon, with clouds looming around it, the stars were out.
"I hope feona is okay..."
"I've done enchantments, spells, transfiguration...What magic involves gems?" he asked himself
Suddenly it hit him, and he knew it was the answer.
Jack broke off one of the stems to one of the corn crops. He started drawing a line with it, curving it around the field of crops.
"okay the circle is finished" jack thought
He drew words into the circle, making sure it was on the inside, "Heal these crops, Make them healthy, Take this gem as payment"
Jack then gathered his energy into his arms, charging himself, he placed the gem inside of the giant drawn circle.
"I hope this works, no regrets" Jack said
He slammed his hands into the ground, making sure his hands were inside of the circle but his feet weren't.
Jack looked at the crops, looking for change
nothing happened

then a vibrating sound started humming, the ground started to shake, with each shake the ground within the circle glowed faintly a deep green. The ground stopped shaking, then the deep green came back, pulsing brightly, Jack heard the sound of plants creaking, He looked up, The crops were starting to raise up off the ground, The deep green stopped pulsing now, and the ground just glowed brightly green, Jack was scared if the green kept getting brighter he might have to shield his eyes.
"how strong was that green gem?" jack asked himself among the action
The ground glowed even brighter, Jack rose his hand to shield his eyes, He heard the creaking of the plants intensify, then the ground shook again once again so strongly that jack fell.
He looked at the ground it wasn't glowing anymore.
He walked up to the plants.
"Is this even possible even within the realm of magic?" jack asked himself
The sun was beginning to break over the horizon.
The old man surveyed the crops, He fell to his knees, He grabbed jack's hands and kissed them
"thank you, so much jack, I am forever in debt to your kind deed" The old man had tears in his eyes
"ahh it was nothing, I was helped anyways" Jack turned away so the farmer didn't see the tears in his eyes.
The crops had grown to three times there size, and had a deep green shine to them, that the farmer had never seen the likes of before. The yellow corn hung fruitfully from these giant crops.
Jack made his way back to the Inn, sat on his bed, and cried that the poor old farmer had been threaten by Zamorack, Threaten he would take away his daughter and her children.

Jack grinded the Ingredients together, added the mixture to the water filled
potion flask he had brought at the apothecary yesterday, he closed the potion flask with the cork, then lightly swung the potion from side to side.
"hmmm"
Jack looked at the potion, set it on the table, he jolted the potion with a small lighting spell.
The potion went from a dull grey brown color, to a more fine dark brown.
He then drank some of the potion.
Jack felt his eyes hurting, it felt like they'd been exposed to the sun for to long, His vision went completely blind
"Did I Do the transfiguration wrong?" He asked himself panicing slightly
After 10 minutes of being blind, his vision finally cleared
Jack looked in the mirror, his eyes weren't the bluish hue they were anymore, they were black in color, Jack also noticed everything appeared darker in color.
He got closer to the mirror, He couldn't distinguish the difference between his pupil and the rest of his iris.
"that's one part of the disguise finished."
"Now I just need to investigate the castle it's self to get a idea where they are hiding feona, then I'm out of here..."
Jack looked up at the castle looming on plateau, higher then the rest of the city, The castle's highest points looming in the clouds.
Jack's heart gave a faint beat,
"I've never imagined something like that..."
Jack could not see the higher parts of the castle, they were to far up and shrouded by mist.
"I hope this castle isn't riddled with curses and spells..." Jack thought remembering the Tower of Kree'arra in the god war's dungeon
The castle it's self was build with gray stone, it looked magnificent.
Jack kept walking in the direction of the castle.
"Now, how do I get up there?"
He kept ending up in streets that lead to dead ends on his way to the castle.
Jack got himself back up to the main road, where he saw a cart, with a Zamorack flags on it.
A short man was at the driver's seat of the cart, two brown horses reins in his hands

"you are heading to the castle" Jack yelled at the man
The man gave jack a weird look
"what business is it of yours?" the short man asked, he was dressed in a white beret, with a fancy under shirt and over shirt.
"I have business with the king" Jack replied
"this road leads to the castle, If that is what you want to know, farewell" The man responded and continued on his way.
Jack started walking up the paved brick road
"it's not easy being new in town" Jack thought
The road started to raise up, a group of Zamorack mages passed by, in black cloaks, they were all hooded, with the Zamorack sign embroidered on the back of the hoods
"I wonder where they are headed" Jack thought as they shuffled by
The castle was getting bigger in size as jack got closer
Finally he could make out the beginning of the castle. There were stone arch ways stretching from side to side, pots of red and black flowers placed in front of each archway, jack could see it continued for quite a while repeating it's self.
He continued walking under the shadows of the archways, People dressed in expensive attire passed jack constantly.
It all lead up to a grand fountain, sprouting up with water, shooting high in the air, only to plummet back to earth forced by gravity.
Jack continued walking,
He saw the archways continued, He walked for minutes, hoping he was still going in the right direction
Jack saw the archway's stop, replaced by columns, it looked like the castle grounds were starting to be inside.
Jack continued to walk, the columns stopped shortly, opening up to a high ceiling of stone, Jack Saw the elegant dark red carpet down the middle of the room, coming out from twin doors, guarded by two men in Zamorack armor.
Jack looked up at the paintings of figures painted on the ceiling, to far away to make out what the painting was actually depicting.
Jack looked to the left, checking for any other doors leading to the castle, there was nothing but stone,

Jack looked to his right, there were no door.
Jack looked at the two guards, He couldn't think of a excuse to get past them.
"there's no way I'd be able to get pass those guards" jack thought meekly
Jack looked from side to side, the guards eyes following his figure. jack walked back outside of the entrance to the castle, looking upwards at the Castle's start for anything to climb up on. There was a small over hanging of stone , jack could barely make out guard rails at an angle. He thought of ways to use this to his advantage hoping he didn't look suspicious in the process.
The night is dim and the moon is covered by clouds, as jack stealthy ran back up from the city back to the castle, a small iron grappling hook and a rope in hands.
He stops in front of the outcropping of rock whirls the hook in the air and tosses it in the direction of the small out cropping.The rope runs In jack's hands, the grappling hook catches on a small out cropping, "heh" jack grins at the successive throw and catch. Jack pulls the rope taunt,then lands his left foot onto the wall, his feet leave the ground as he turns at 45 degree angle, he begins stepping up as quiet as a mouse scurrying across a field. Jack grabs a hold of the guard rail, and pulls himself up and over the rail.
He was Already thinking of his next move, the room was dark with hardly any moonlight shining in, "illuminate..." jack casts the spell as a enchantment onto his small red bladed dagger. He shines the now enlightened dagger around the room it casts a eery red light, Jack see's curtains and a small drawer placed in the corner, most likely a thousand rooms like this in the castle jack thought. Where is the jail cell jack thought next.
He steps outside the room and looks around, there is a balcony and stairs running with a host of doors to the side. He then thought how hard it would be to search all of these rooms for feona, Jack began to lose faith if he could actually complete his task at hand.
